Relatively easy hike. if you go a little further there is a reservoir that I feel is a must see.

Parked at South entrance. Walked Finger Lake trail, crossed the suspension bridge, walked along Indian back to Main entrance, crossed the bridge and pick up Finger Lakes Trail again. Finger Lake trail far less busy than Indian. Most people had masks on but not everyone. Decent amount of water for serene sounds.

Easy on the Cayuga trail. But very pretty woodland trail!

Our fault in picking the wrong time of year. Literally only saw 1 small waterfall, highly trafficked trails, half the people said Hi back. Only saw 1 tiny snake

CLOSED! This trail is closed. If you are planning to go know that this trail is close. Other trials in the park don’t have great views. But the fall foliage is still there. Probably will be for another four-five days.

Beautiful gorge with lovely falls. Today is the last day the trail is open so it wasn’t heavily trafficked. The rain soaked a lot of the trail so some spots soaked our shoes. Would highly recommend this trail. Many steps but you do them slowly because of taking in the views so you don’t realize how many you’re doing.

Please note that today 10/22 is the last day the Gorge Trail is open! Beautiful even in the rainy weather. Stunning views, LOTS of stairs. If you struggle with stairs, this is not a trail for you. As previously stated, most you don’t notice because you’re stopping to take in the view. But there are many, many stone steps. Absolutely worth the $8 parking fee. I’m shocked there is no admission fee for use of the gorge.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR GORGE TRAIL (10/22). General review: gorge trail is beautiful and easy with some occasional stairs. You’ll be stopping so much for photos you won’t notice. Easy downhill coming back on Indian. As others noted last .5 miles or so of gorge trail are closed. You really must start the loop from bottom small lot in town.

Beautiful, steps can be hard on the knees, other than that it’s very do-able. Wear good hiking shoes.
