Beautiful hike through the Gorge! A moderately difficult hike mainly due to slippery rocks, stairs, and tourists stopping to take pictures. The view of the rocks and waterfalls along the path were wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Nice trail, no view. Don’t miss the gorge trail - that one is breath taking!

We drove 7 hours, specifically for this hike. We started at the main entrance on Franklin, but wIth all of the recent rain, this trail was only open for the first 1/2 mile. From there we took Lover’s Lane to the Indian Trail to the end at the north entrance. What we saw of the gorge trail was absolutely amazing! No views from the Indian Trail though. Closed toe shoes are a must, we were happy to have our hiking boots as some spots were wet and muddy. This trail is an absolute must do if you are in the area.

DON'T TAKE THE INDIAN TRAIL... We started hiking gorge and from Jacob's ladder we headed back on Indian trail, the gorge trail as the name suggests is awesome but gets crowded but worth it. The Indian trail has maybe 1-2 viewing points and it doesn't have anything that makes us feel that we are at a glen... So just make sure you get back in the gorge itselff

The trail and scenery along it are lovely. However this place is way too touristy for my liking. A lot of people seem to have no concept of trail etiquette and it blows my mind how many people wear flip flops to do this! It’s wet and slippery even when it hasn’t been raining! Please don’t be a hazard to yourself or others!

A beautiful hike for all ages. Not to hard. Being able To see the narrows, waterfalls, bridges all in one hike. It does get crowded but was still very enjoyable.

very beautiful

Absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to go back

Very cool spot. Lots of traffic but great scenery. Lots of amphibians along the rock wall mixed in with all the ferns, moss and wildflowers. Overlooked due to the rushing water. Hiked all the way to the end than came back on the Indian trail crossed the mile bridge and continued to the end on the upper ridge trail.

Very nice hike, quite a few steps if ypu go all the way up. On weekends there is a ton of people as it is very touristy. Going around some of the waterfalls gets tricky as alot of people congregate around them and make passing them very difficult. try it in the middle of the week when there are less people and its a great hike.

beautiful! the stairs at the end are killer tho haha

Me and my dad did this loop in September 2017. The landscape is unique and combined with cascading 8 water falls makes the hike even more rewarding. We loved the hike and is fairly easy without much elevation gain. Plenty of opportunity for photo shoot. Parking is 8$ but under two hours, it is free as most of the roadside parking is just for 2 hours. So this hike is easily doable in 2 hours. Just a pro tip.

I'm not sure if we took a wrong turn or so, but goes right by the cemetary which was a little creepy at one of the ends. When we went the other way (coming from the Lily pond direction) if was steep, but nice! You can see waterfalls down below.

Hiked here with fam and dog. The accesses to this trail is either from the Gorge trail, or you hike up the road to to the entrance. We couldn't go on the gorge for the dog, so ended up going up the road. It's a lot of uphill, but a lovely trail. Don't let that discourage you! Take lots of water and be careful on the way down. The map is a bit confusing, but we all enjoyed the trail.

Beautiful park with spectacular views of many waterfalls. Multiple stone stairs take you up, down, behind and close up to the falls. Great experience!

so many beautiful views

crowded on the holiday weekend which was hard on the narrow rocks, but 100% worth it so beautiful.

The gorge trail is beautiful. Definitely worth doing. Wear water shoes. There is a shuttle at the end of you can’t make the entire loop.

Absolutely gorgeous! Fairly easy hike on even terrain. Be prepared to climb stairs and get a little wet. Tons of tourists!

Great views but tons of people

Loved this place! Saw too many people wearing improper footwear.

Did this today and Wow, so Beautiful. Also did the South rim trail, but there was no compariosn for the beauty from the other trails. There was a $6.00 fee for parking and it was Super busy, would deffently do this hike again but would go during the week and Not the weekend, there was people everywhere, but still super pretty

Good trail, not to busy or buggy, also did the Indian trail and Gorge trail, those are absolutely phenomenal and Breath taking!!!

Did the south rim trail and the Indian trail. The gorge trail was closed due to ice on the trial. Really nice and not many difficult spots. Definitely a place to return to.

I frequent many many state parks, but this one always takes the cake! There are many stairs on the gorge trail, but they are spread out and there are plenty of places to rest as well. Such a beautiful home well worth the work!

Terrific views of waterfalls, but would not necessarily call it a hike. More like a tourist attraction. Second half of this trail is very dull.
