Great little hike. Different concept of things. Pretty cool views. I loved the forest with the music in it. That part was really cool.

Did as part of the Tupper Lake Triad today. All 3 little mountains is just under 8 miles. Fun to do all 3 in one day. Very short hike 2.2 miles total. Great views from summit. There is a fire tower but if you do not like them you do not need to climb it to have good views. Look for the little benches to see great views.

Nice easy trail. Good for a beginner. I did this as part of the Tupper Lake Triad today. The three little mountains are about 8 miles round trip. The views at the top are ok. I was hoping to have a good view of Tupper Lake but didn’t. About 3.4 miles round trip.

Great little trail to start off snowshoeing in the ADK mountains. Had to break the trail today starting halfway up due to the recent snowfall. Pretty good traction though with the fresh snow. Very little ice to deal with. Sunny today so there was a great view at the top!

Cute hike in the snow. Short n sweet with great view. Did as part of triad on Thanksgiving

Great Thanksgiving hike with my daughter and husband. Really lovely views from the fire tower. Wonderful way to spend a morning. ~ 1 hour round trip + 30 enjoying the views. A little ice and some wet spots, but mostly packed snow.

Nice hike as part of the triad. Did with my hubby on Thanksgiving. Nice snow coverage. Decent view.

Great views from the firetower, but very windy.

went up Arab before Columbus day so my husband could help mount a flag on the fire tower....wicked gusty windy day....beautiful hike...great mountain for kids and beginner hukers

This is an excellent trail for beginners or people looking for an easy hike. The trail is short and well maintained, and not particularly steep. The views from the top are great and the observation tower gives a very clear view of the surrounding waters and mountains.

Great climb with the kiddos (3yr-15yr) and my sister. My 2nd of the Adirondack Fire Tower Challenge. The views were breathtaking even in the pouring rain. The gentleman at the top and his two Newfoundlands were great to visit with. He asked my oldest to please bring the flag in from the top of the tower as it was his last day on the mountain for the season.

Treacherous, but fulfilling to get my first 4 46ers. Seymour was slippery, but well-trafficked. Doing Seward Range the next day, only saw one other hiker. The Ward Brook herd path is IN a stream for a good bit of the ascent, along slippery, moss covered rocks. Felt more like bouldering than hiking at some parts! I've got quite a few nicks and bruises-- Good trekking poles are a must! I went down Caulkins Brook herd path to spend another night at the Hemlock Hill lean-to, and as others have stated, found Caulkins Brook herd path a much more pleasant hike.

Great hike for the family. Gentlemen up top with two great dogs, plus the Fire Tower and the views makes this hike worth it.

Amazing views for a short hike. 5 stars!

Excellent views, great little jaunt!

Easy hike but well worth doing good views and great brewery in town when done

Great views, but I didn't love the long walk in to the trail start. It's just a straight walk. Not terribly long though so it's still worth doing!

I love this mountain! My family and I climb it quite frequently. Last year we did all of the Tupper Triad and felt very accomplished. Beautiful hike all the way up!

Fairly easy hike, a little muddy closer to the summit. Has a few outlooks and benches to sit and relax. The 360 views from the tower were very beautiful, it was a little hazy. The was a steward at the top giving information about the tower and the area. While not crowded, it was busy on Sunday.

Easy hike, I went when there were clouds, but you wouldn't get the 360 degree views here, really only one direction. It was raining when I went, so no bugs. Does get muddy when it is wet.
