Nice trail. It has a little of everything, some streams, moderate incline, a few rocks scrambles and great views. The incline is not too steep at any one part of the trail and there are rock steps in several locations.

Great trail. The views where amazing and the descents were not too hard on the knees. Cats Elbow was a nice little Rock scramble. Got a little confused when changing from the Timp Pass to the Blue Trail (Timp Torne). Enjoy.

Before to remain on the red trail— if u go onto the blue trail does not leave you back at the beginning of trail

Pleasant day hike. With foliage down, there are great views up and down the Hudson river, but a lot of views of the Indian point power plant. Trail is typical for the area - a well maintained mix of steeps and flats with lots of lichen covered rock (was a bit slippery the day we were out because of the recent rains). There was a large cave about 1/3 of the way up that we didn't venture into because it was flooded that day. Large parking area. At a modest pace, it took us about 3 hours with a lunch break at the top.

This was a great trail. Followed the path as per alltrails map, and went clockwise as most people suggest. 8 miles, about 4 hours. It’s fair to put this in the difficult category (I’m 49, in good shape, got a good workout), although among difficult trails it’s on the easier aide. Fantastic views. Within an hour of Manhattan it’s tough to beat this.

Felt more like 10 miles than 7.4. Took us close to 6 hours to do, with stopping breaks. But overall it was excellent. On this trail there are at least 6 to 7 great stops one must take in order to enjoy the view provided.

Gorgeous views. Great hike. Leaves are beautiful. Couldn’t have had a better day for hiking. Weather, trails and beauty. Just wow.

The only reason I would agree to a difficult rating is because this is 7.5+ miles of ankle breaker rocks and roots

Solid trail, views are nice when you can see, but you never really get outside the tree line, so they're always through the trees. No real overlooks. Markings are pretty bad at a few crossroads, but overall were decent.

Nice hike but you never feel like you’re out in nature because of the noise. Make sure to bring water as there’s no sources along the way.

Great trail!! Enough up and down to make it challenging and interesting buy not too much so that it was painful.
