Nicely laid out trail system, most are easy except for one spur that is moderate with some scrambling and elevation gain. We walked about 3 miles in all by taking the main loop and some of the side trails. No great views from the elevated area. Plenty of signs with maps at trail intersections. Overall a good place for beginners and kids.

Such beautiful views in a serene environment! My DH and I leisurely strolled the trails taking in the pleasant music Springtime offers! All in all, a nice simple stroll with plenty of spots to sit and take in the sounds and views. Would love to come back and enjoy a picnic by the water and finish the other trails on the other side of the road (Don't miss those!) :-)

Very surprised how this trail is

Hiked 4.1 miles on 2 loops. Beautiful views, mountain meadows, woods. Next time I’ll bring my grandkids, 5 and7. Great for kids or even my disabled nephew because some of the trails have boardwalks . We then took a more moderate trails with ladders. No problem but a little steeper.

A hidden gem in a small town close to Lake George and Saratoga Springs. Well maintained trails, interpretive signs throughout, handicapped accessible on the parking lot side. Historical museum onsite, beautiful views, wildlife, bird watching in a couple of marshy areas. What an amzing spot that is not well-known... ADK has so much to offer around the small town! Thank you Stony Creek for building these trails for the community!

Great easy hike. Well marked with several maps posted along the trail to manage your progress. Good for kids or those who want a short day in nature. Very well maintained. You'll see marsh, meadows, wild flowers and streams.

Nice easy evening hike within a short distance of Lake George. Trails were well marked and easy to find. A little buggy in the woods, but not too bad.

This was a really nice, fairly easy hike that followed a creek around, offered some nice challenging scrambling, and had a couple of spots with lovely views. There are plenty of options to bypass the tricky parts, all clearly marked. There is also a shorter wheelchair accessible trail across the road that has informative signs and nice bridges through the wetland areas.
