Absolutely beautiful! So many flowers and wildlife

Wife and I Hiked here today. Ended up going about 2.5 miles. Couple of muddy sections, but nothing we couldn't get around without any issues. (Our muck boots came in really handy). Fun hike, Look forward to going back soon!

Trail is rerouted at the beginning of the trail. Hiked this trail at 9am on a Saturday morning, not busy, but did see other people with their dogs.

I usually go here a lot, but haven’t gone here since October. One of my favorite places to go to. You will definitely need boots for this hike.

Nice hike but sometimes difficult to follow the markers

Personally, I Loved this trail. Maybe I chose a good day because it hasn’t rained and I only did the straight trail. if you look at the map there’s a straight shot, I did that part. Just because it’s straight it doesn’t mean it’s easy. I would rate this trail MODERATE, def not easy. So from the start you kind of go downhill, I walked that, it took me 30 minutes. At the bottom there’s a creek I turned around and ran back, because it was uphill it took me another 30 minutes. This trail is a well beaten path it’s not like you’re running through the wilderness , it is very nice, although the trail has a lot of rocks and branches on the ground, I would definitely be careful if you are running. I would definitely not recommend this trail for strollers or toddlers. And I don’t feel like I’m being an overprotective mother there are some places where it’s so steep, I’m gonna try to post some pictures but it doesn’t do it justice. I think the locals know that this is not a place for strollers because I saw a lot of people on the street with strollers. On the trail i ran into no one. For a good glute workout, highly recommend, leave the little ones at home.

Kids and dogs friendly trail. Bring bug spray - we had to spray twice: in the beginning and half - way. Finished in under an hour with kids and a dog (youngest is 6).

lots of fun - definitely need hiking boots for the muddy parts, but my sketchers biking shoes stayed on my feet throughout

will not do this one again. it was like walking through a steam the whole way there and back ugh

Main entrance was closed. However another trail was open. Trails are a bit confusing. The blue and yellow were extremely muddy. Some parts are very steep. Couldn't locate all the falls. But saw a few. Would recommend for an earlier daytime hike.

Heavily trafficked, but a good one to tire out your dog. Love that there’s lots of shade and a creek the pup can hop in to keep him cool.

The Plotter Kill is closed - *please* do not go here while it’s not open. There are so many other great trails in the area. Occasionally people get lost and/or injured in the Plotter Kill and volunteers have to come in and get them out, usually very late at night. This is always a slightly risky thing to do, but especially so during a pandemic. PLEASE pick somewhere else to hike so that my friends and neighbors don’t have to keep putting themselves at risk for people who couldn’t keep out. We’re all stir crazy and want to get outside but there are tons of other, open trails to chose from.

Good trail. Keep an eye on the markers. Ton of water and bunch of falls

A hidden gem in a suburban neighborhood. Trail can be muddy after a good rain, so be prepared. Beautiful, quiet, and serene.

What a lovely trail with some fun options. Not flat!! Water. Super close if you want to visit Schenectady for take out. Go in morning to avoid the hoard. Walking dead reference during pandemic. Would say some spots are narrow so bring mask. Keep eye on trailheads so you don’t get yourself walking longer than expected.
