Beautiful view and hike. You get to go around a beaver dam which gives you a chance to see some pretty cool wildlife. Make sure you grab a brochure/map on the way in, as the junction between the orange, yellow, and red trails can get pretty confusing due to some of the markers being on trees that have fallen. Otherwise, very good hike with only a few steep inclines. Took my 9 year old lab and had no problems with him (other than doing our best to keep him from jumping into the beaver pond), dog friendly!

Short but fairly steep climb, nice views at the top. There are two trailheads, I have used the one from the LGLC parking area on Schwerdferger Road, which is small and fills up fast on summer weekends.

Excellent view once you get to the top. Started off
Kind of ugly visually and it not too tough. Escalated to about 100ft elevation every 1/10th mile, but manageable. Did it with my 12 and 10 year old and they loved it.

Easy trail- less than an hour to summit w tons of breaks.

The full loop to the lake view, around the rookery and to the ridge was about 3.5 miles. The red trail is steep at the end. Took us about 2 hours, stopping to take a bunch of pictures.
