This is a short and easy little trail with a very nice view. We did it in 1hr with two young kids. If you like challenges it might not be enough. I would not say it is of moderate difficulty.

Few markings but trail isn't difficult to follow. Last half mile is quite steep, following a rocky streambed to the overlook. Bring insect repellent.

Very nice trail but very few directions : we walked 500m passed the trail before coming back on our steps and finding it. We did it under the rain, so there was no view at the top (only clouds) but it was steel nice ! A little muddy, but fine.

Took a little bit to get up there but the cave and the views are worth it. There were a few yellow jackets up at the top but the view totally trumped it.

A nice short trail. Parking was a bit hard to find, there is no indication. Follow the 4x4 trail and there it is.

Great hike with a spectacular view for the amount of hiking done. Trail head was a little hard to find. At end of dead end street, take right onto trail that follows power lines for about a quarter mile until you reach small lot on right.

Great hike I would say it's pretty easy if hiking freely but I was carrying a 20 pound baby on my back so in that case I'd say moderately difficult hike. Very fun really cool cave to see. It was kind of muddy but hardly any bugs on a cool morning.

Simple hike with some quick elevation gain at the end. Super view payoff. The bugs were BAD today, so definitely be sure to bring and use your bug spray!

Excellent view at the top and worth trecking the muddy terrain to get up. If you veer off the path there's a interesting cave inside which of course we were to chicken to enter. It's a little tricky to maneuver through all the rocks but as stated above breathtaking and worth it the climb.

This was great. A little hard to find at first, but it was worth it. I hiked with my 7-year-old and he loved it.

Park next to the fire house in town. wear good boots. if you loose the trail there are some markers in the trees about 8' up. Great view at the top.

Great view for the amount that you have to hike. A little muddy at times but worth it when you get to the summit :)

I've done this hike both with and without snow. The trail starts on an old railroad bed and then after a few hundred feet veers right into the woods. It's a short climb to the summit, with nice views of the area around Malone. Near the top there's an interesting little cave.
