I just did the eternal flame trail. it took me 30 minutes start to finish, I walk fast. well marked trail and worth the experience to see the flame. hardest part of the trail is the hike back up the hill but really not bad

Gorgeous views and great climb down, be prepared or climb back up. Have went previously and water was flowing steadily. Flame is brightly lit. Great photo op. Magical place will go again for sure!

no water flowing on the falls the day I was there, but still breath taking views. definitely going back after a good rainfall to see water going down the falls. flame was burning real good

Heading to Buffalo with the pup, decided to do a hike and get out of the car with the dog. Easy trail, muddy, fairly crowded—it was a holiday weekend. Great outing though after checking out the flame for the pup to play in the water downstream a good ways!

Great hike through a nice area. Note: If you follow the trail in this map you will not get to the flame. It is down in the creek bed if you follow the flames on the trees.

Great, quick hike with beautiful scenery. Went while on vacation in NY two weeks ago. It wasn’t too packed, even for a Saturday afternoon, and I was surprised by how quickly we made it to the falls.

nice short little Trail easy hike for a Sunday morning wish there was more water though rather dry. August 12th 2018 beautiful day

short moderate trail. kids, dogs and tree roots. drought has stolen most of the the water from the falls. flame was lit, and was cool to hear kids get excited once they spotted it. makes for a nice hike and set of woods. went off trail into the woods so the dog could case some chipmunks. nice steady flow of people all day. parking lot is an excellent size. useful for lazy summertime naps in the vehicle.

I like this trail...

Though a short and easy trail, it set the pace for a brisk hike through the woods. The waterfalls were dry when we visited (mid August), but the view was still very scenic and pristine. This trail is perfect for first timers.

One of our favorites.

Loved this trail! Good variation of terrain! Only drawback was hearing car traffic on nearby expressway in one section. Beautiful scenery. Very woodsy!

nice connecting trail to the eternal flame. Good loop.

Moderate hike with many tree roots throughout. Small creek at the bottom with some fish spotted. Sedimentary rock - shale - forms the gorge walls. The 'waterfall' was more like a trickle but this may be due to the absence of rainfall over the past month. The flame is within the wall of the waterfall and creates a cool natural visual.

Great little hike that is just challenging enough for my toddler. Bring a lighter just in case the flame is out

It’s a fun, short trek. Glad I was finally able to hike it with my wife.

BRING A LIGHTER

So nice

Fairly easy hike with some creek crossings and slightly slippery rocks. It’s a pretty awesome sight and a must.

We r gently hiked with our 12 year old. Paths are narrow and may need to step in water to allow others to pass. Beautiful view.

Great views, easy climb, adventure for people of all ages.

This waterfall is truly one of a kind! So amazing. Hike in the winter is a bit sloppy and area around the falls is icy.

One of my favorite trails. Short and not very challenging but great views. Well trafficked area so expect to have company. Great for a all ranges of skill.

Great hike. Awesome views. Easy to follow. Trail markers every few hundred feet.

45 degrees out made for a beautiful February hike. A little slippery. Trail mark well for one half. The other half, it is necessary to pay attention.

Easy, heavily trafficked trail (most likely see an abundance of kids and dogs). The flame is really interesting to see, much more enjoyable when there aren’t other people to get in the way of some cool pictures. Other than that it feels just like a walk in a park.

still a great hike during the winter.

My favorite place to hike. Boy Scout trail is pretty intense.
