This is my daily trail run! What I love most about this loop is its variety: beautiful trees and foliage, sweeping views of the lake and fields, a mix of ups and downs, and plenty of water fountains along the way. March / April is the best time of year to visit, when snow drops, daffodils and crocus bloom all along the path.

This is a simple and small neighborhood park with all kinds of people doing all kinds of things in the open space. What this park has going for it is that it’s on top of the slope, I believe the highest point in Brooklyn, where you have views of the city. Definitely a unique view. It is a fun pit stop on a biking tour but when you walk around, the elevation changes keep it interesting too.

A nice long loop, all paved with some incline. I wouldn’t call it an easy run.

I love running with the dogs here, it’s the closest to being in the woods you can get in Brooklyn!

Great place to walk the dogs. In the winter there is music from the ice skating rink!
