Not sure how Prospect Park is considered easy. Who came up with that? There’s nothing easy about climbing that hill. Even when I’m running that hill is a pain in the butt. It’s a very nice park. Perfect for road biking and running. Plus everything else you can think of in a park.

Overall Good. Take the more adventurous path to the right and after 30 mins walk, you emerge into a more prestige Rocky beach! The left side takes you to wolf pond area. The paved roads are good for easy walk

This is a great trail right at the center of Staten Island. Have done it in many forms, from 1-3 hours inc adjacent Latourete Golf Course. Shady and Green. Often come across Deer around elevation areas. Generally easy, only woods and moist soil, not Rocky or pebbly. Fall, great foliage. Trail boots recommended but not must. Bug Spray would be good. Trail Routes well marked with color codes. Not many people. My Golden Retriever enjoys this trail. Quite Trail as you get inwards

It’s a good hike. The beginning is secluded and very nice. As you get toward the end, the blazes are more scarce and you cross several roads. Still, I would recommend this hike when you can’t get out of the city. It accessible by public transportation.

Great little trail that is easy to navigate. Although the parking lot may look crowded, many people use the rec area and the pool. The people that are hiking typically use the main dirt path. The side trails are really beautiful. Very foresty with green ferns and swamps. The side trails are also slightly elevated and makes for an interesting adventure. Although there are many offshoots, its hard to get lost. I walked around with no real destination in mind and just explored the trails. Very tranquil and relaxing. Off the main dirt path there are some ruins, not sure of what though. there is also a teepee in the woods thats kinda cool. The trails that run along the river eventually lead you to the lookout point. It's pretty, but much of the view is blocked by trees this time of year. Speaking of this time of year, the wild raspberry bushes are ripe and ready for the picking! This park has a plethora of the bushes all along the trails which makes a nice snack and plenty enough to take a few home as well!

Nice shade. Wasn’t crowded. Most crossing boards were slippery. Nice running trail!

Easy walk with a viewpoint. If you park at the Tallman Parking lot near Tennis Courts, there was a children’s interactive page by page book reading on the trail. Good idea for kids. To see the viewpoint you are going off trail. So just be sure to follow your app! Many many bugs, youre on marsh land. Wear bug spray.

We started walking this trail every weekend with our pups recently. There is nice shade which gives us all a break from the climbing summer temperatures. The orange and blue trails are fairly empty, giving a great sense of privacy and city-escape. There are some areas where the trail markings prove a bit difficult to follow, but we utilized the map on the app and quickly found our way.

Nice escape but the occasional evidence if trash can be of putting when with kids.

I live near the park and come here every day, and if you want to stay on the trail keep your phone in hand and watch carefully. It's not an obvious route and you'll scratch your head a few times over the up/down and back/forth when there's a sidewalk right in front of you. Perhaps just walk up to the north part of the park and explore some of the lesser-known areas up there -- wonderful exploring with lots to see!

Had to drive around to find street parking because there is no parking in the park. Was rewarded with lots of wildlife sightings: swans, rabbits, and a deer walked up close to us. Nice for a quick walk in nature!

It’s easily accessible, trails are somewhat maintained, but the city is very present and trails were busy, sometimes with runners, once with a woman who was playing her music loudly through her phone, etc. Not as peaceful as i’d hoped.

It is a nice walk. I brought my dog along. Shaded areas. I saw a decent amount of birds. I took my time & took pictures. If you are in the area, I would recommend.

Great trail for any skill level, it almost feels like more of a nature walk with a few exceptions here and there. Shade is awesome in this trail too which helps on days when the temp is pretty high. But it could get pretty muddy at times. Overall, 5 stars if you want to get away from the “city life” while still being in the city.

Heavily wooded - I’m surprised how isolated you can feel in parts of the park considering it’s in Queens. I was pleasantly surprised by all the dirt trails available. My new favorite park close to home.
