Road biking

Not sure how Prospect Park is considered easy. Who came up with that? There’s nothing easy about climbing that hill. Even when I’m running that hill is a pain in the butt. It’s a very nice park. Perfect for road biking and running. Plus everything else you can think of in a park.

Great views, avoid going mid afternoon during the summer, too crowded. cero difficulty, avoid windy days because it’s gets super windy on the bike trail.

Nice view beside the bridge, good for walking, biking, jogging and picnicking and much more. Parking lot just next to track and field.

It is a nice walk. I brought my dog along. Shaded areas. I saw a decent amount of birds. I took my time & took pictures. If you are in the area, I would recommend.

North side of the lake is quiet and peaceful. Saw a cardinal, blue heron, American sparrow, European Starling and blue jays. Eastern side of lake near Lefrak Center is crowded.

Went on a rainy day. Beautiful trail and not crowded at all. In many places it feels like you are in the mountains and not in the city.

I love this trail! The only inconvenience was the restroom accessibility due to COVID.

Trail is partially paved and partially natural. Nice walk. Heavily trafficked, but enough room to space out.

Perfect for a breezy walk by the ocean. This is one long, flat boardwalk and it is not a loop. You can walk to the end and then walk all the way back, or enter at any of the multiple entry points and decide your own path. Very limited food vendors are currently offering takeaway food and drinks so it’s still worth a walk. You can also sit on the beach and relax. Check out the pier- lots of benches and you get a cool backdrop of the amusement rides and the ocean for pics. Advice from a local, do not wander too far past the amusement rides at night in the summer and if you do, please exercise caution.

Nice little trail, very easy. Beautiful when it’s nice out, especially around the time of the cherry blossom blooms. Currently closed due to COVID but worth a relaxing afternoon stroll when it opens.

Bronx River Forest is lovely and full of critters. But the main paths, whereas it’s the Moshulu, or the Bronx River path, are mostly paved and much too close to the actual parkways if you are looking for actual nature.

Beautiful trail from start to finish. Relaxing with beautiful views of the waterway all the way through. Truly relaxing. Highly recommend you do it at least once to know what you are missing.

It is a park. Very beautiful, but there is no trail, so you kind of have to make your own way. I wanted a light hike because I had intense workout yesterday, so for me, the trail that I walked today was more then enough. There many beautiful places in Prospect park to see. You can explore by yourself and feel safe and another good thing, if you live in Brooklyn it's pretty close and you can get there by public transportation. Today was a lot of people so it is kind of hard to avoid anyone but overall could be mixed hike with biking, running or rollerblading.
