This walk is for everyone. It's makes for a great day in the park all season long. You can even bring your dog along for a long walk with you as well.

I found it really hard to follow the planned route. Definitely seemed to go off trail a number of times. Nevertheless very pretty and classic tourist hike for those interested. Nice cold weather training for a Texas winter.

Great city hike. Parts make you forget that you're even in the city and then the last half was right along a highway and was pretty noisy. Overall a beautiful hike with all the leaves turning and squirrels scurrying around. I did spot poison ivy in a few parts of the trail.

Walked on the white trail, it’s pretty small. I will check out the longer trail next time around.

Great lake loop, Brooklyn "feel" all around!

Awesome walk.

Got a late start so we only went maybe halfway. Beautifully done park! Lots of seating Alo g the way, rest rooms available and places to shop and snack. Must be gorgeous in the warmer weather when the trees and gardens are in bloom. However, sooo crowded!

Beautiful trail. Fairly easy one.

moderate hike. great hills

Good old Central Park drive. Walked home last night after dark and road was pitch black north of the 103 crossover. Flashbacks to the 70’s brought on a strong urge to flee. Told a cop driving through and tonight the lights were back on. Yay! Also complained thru 311, but that was a no go; the rep couldn’t find the park drive on a map. Sigh.

Great little trail in the city. Not busy and get you away from hustle. Does get flooded when tide is in

Old Putnam trail is closed as of right now.. (11/2/19) but still plenty to explore in and out of the main pathway

You can’t beat the location because it’s right in the heart of Queens. I only took one star off because some of the trails are not thatwell marked.

As far as a city walk this was really cool. There are gardens and art all throughout the high line. There are plenty of stairs to get off and explore the different neighborhoods. Easy and fun walk.

It’s crowded, try to go early during sunrise. Watch out and stay out of the bike lane as best as you can.

Great for running. Awesome views, heavily trafficked but hey that’s New York.

Lovely trail. It’s not paved and very rocky but still a comfortable, beautiful walk.

Loved this trail. Have completed a few times with children and enjoyed very much. Easy and fun!

Nice well marked trails. Lotttssssss of dogs off leashes, love dogs, but good to know. Great place to walk, sit, and eat a packed lunch in the park.

love this trail with my young kids. the highlight point is the picnic table on the water. Went in the fall and no bugs or other issues. can easily miss the trail entrance. you start off on the bridal path and if you hit the road you've gone too far. Excellent writeup of this trail in the book 50 day hikes around New York City.

Easy four hour stroll in the woods with Ms 6. (The four hours includes lunch, a playground stop, and investigating every interesting fallen tree along the way.) Chipmunks everywhere. This is a great kid friendly day hike in the city.

nice stroll through the park. with it being a sunday afternoon, was very crowded. We stopped halfway at the lake and spent an hour canoeing..(or should I say I paddled while my wife took pictures!!!) all in all, a very nice and easy way to spend an afternoon in NYC
