We went after big rains. Very muddy. Lots of rock- hopping. Beautiful trail-side vegetation. Fabulous fungi. Falls were booming. There is a guy in the car park who may be living there but he seems friendly and harmless.

Way shorter from the trails end side. Both ways are great.

Great hike for kids and you can trout fish at the river!

Easy walks to beautiful falls! Took our dog and he did fine. Falls have multiple spots to hang out and either dip in the water or relax on large rocks.

Great, easy trail! It's pretty much flat the entire way (a little incline on the way back). It's a pretty rocky path though, so be sure to wear hiking shoes or sneakers (no flip flops or sandals). We went on a rainy-ish day and there are a couple sections that are bogged down with water, so it's best to wear waterproof shoes in those conditions. The walk is beautiful and the falls are gorgeous! You could totally swim in sections of the falls, it's a fun swimming hole.

Beautiful secluded trail. We only passed one other family the whole time, so it very private & serene. It's definitely easy and relatively flat, but I'd recommend wearing hiking boots to improve footing on rocks in some areas of the path.

Beautiful cascades and a deep swimming hole. Worth the hike.

We've been here several times and walked from what we think is Upper Cherrytown Rd. Its a long uphill walk, but the beautiful falls are worth it. Up there we see signs for other trails, but cannot seem to find them here. Has anyone walked from another access, like Greenville? How would we find the beginning of that trail?
