This is a very nice and easy path to talk older parents on who need to take breaks and can't walk up hills. I remember this trail to have benches every so often, where we took a break as my mom was with us. If you're looking for a strenuous hike, this is not the place to come. We came in Oct. 2014.

Checked this one out in June of 2017. And this hike doesn’t disappoint! It’s beautiful and moderately well trafficked. Great for all ages. There’s a bit of stairs along the way which are a great way to enter the trail. Awesome views of the falls and rock formations, would definitely go again.

This isn’t really a trail. It’s more of a scenic viewing area. There’s a Little Rock chair right next to the falls situated in the middle of a residential area. But it’s beautiful nonetheless and totally worth checking out. (June 2017)

The falls is fantastic -quick incredible, but this isn’t a hike.It a simple walk to the falls.

not a hike just waterfall

I’ve been here many years ago and have forgotten how beautiful it is. Great hike to get the heart pumping.

This is a short, flat walk to the waterfall at the swimming hole. If you're in the park to hike the gorge, it's worth the visit to this waterfall as well.

This is not a trail. There is a parking lot and you walk about 100 yards to get a good look at the falls. The falls are huge and beautiful. They are interestingly located in a residential neighborhood.

These falls are with in a few minutes drive of other falls such as cascadilla

These falls have a fun little sitting area made of rock chairs and a rock table at the base of the falls

PLEASE obey the NO SWIMMING signs!! There is a sign at the falls entrance that blatantly states you can die swimming here and sure enough, earlier this year a local college student did

Nice short hike through beautiful scenery. Close to college.

Easy beautiful hike. Fantastic waterfall

I had forgotten how beautiful this hike was. If you are looking for waterfalls this will definitely fit the bill. There are a lot of steps so there is a little bit of a workout. This was the third and final hike while I was down in Ithaca this past weekend, none of them disappointed. The way out on this one, going around the lake, and taking pictures on the damn on the way back down were definitely highlights. I can't wait to go camping down in Ithaca again and explore more of the area.

Nice hike with nice views. Decently trafficked on the lower sections, so not the best place for a private peaceful hike.

Gorge hike has numerous falls, steep stair climb at beginning of hike. Well worth the effort. $8 state park entrance fee per car

Simple easy trail with a small waterfall.

Ok hike around the falls. Water level was very low and falls were not that impressive.

This is a good hike thru the gorge and views of waterfalls in the area. Well worth your time to try out.

I have this a 5 due to it really coming thru on waterfalls in a short period of time. also a well made trail system. great quick hike!

Super easy 'hike' and all this time being in the Ithaca area, I had no idea this waterfall existed. Light walk that will get you right up to bottom of the cascading water. Popular spot for beginners, but still a must see for anyone!

Very good hike. The Gorge trail allows you to get close to several unique waterfalls. It begins with a few long-ish staircases, but the effort here is totally worth it. The Bear Trail is a quiet forested hike with some easy rolling hills. The Lake Treman loop is above the lakeside water level and has a few moderate hills and a couple long staircases. Nice wildflowers on both the Bear trail and the Lake Treman loop, but if you're pressed for time, the Gorge trail is not to be missed.
