This is a short flat walk, the path is in excellent condition with wood chips or boardwalks throughout most of the way. It appears to be an excellent place to see birds of prey, though none were spotted during our walk.

Half of the time you're just walking in people's back yards.

Nice place, not much in the way of trail hiking, more of a place to go to watch for birds during migration. It does have an elevated deck for bird watching and the day I was there 2 people where watching and recording number of sightings of certain raptors. I didn't see any while I was there but board indicated bald eagle was spotted 3 times. Is kid friendly as they have a small playground, also have a indoor pavilion which I assume can be rented out. If just looking to relax and bird watch then great place.

Quiet calm place to be on a windy day.

Ok more of a mountain bike trail

The trail is a bit easy to miss but well worth it when you get there - though it's not long, going around more than once doesn't get boring. We even saw monarch butterflies of all things!! A note: this trail has hunting trails branching off of it, so be careful during hunting season.

I hiked 2.0 miles from the Salmon Creek bridge east to Manitou Road, the next exit off the trail (at the RV dealership). The trail is narrow, mosquito infested, & there were several large puddles almost impossible to go around. I was told the trail does continue on the opposite side of Manitou Rd but I didn't notice the connection. Trail would be easier to hike in spring or fall.

Very easy, flat, straight trail. Take Upton Ave to the end to find trailhead which is an old utility access road. Path runs along treeline / power line. Cross footbridge to access (may have to lift bikes over cement blockade). Only went about 2 miles in - no apparent destination seen. Alot of farm land on either side.
