Fun trail. Nothing too difficult. I extended the length by exploring the purple trail (a little more advanced but nothing too strenuous). Perfect for when your time is limited and you just want to get out there.

Nice trail. Beautiful views down the river and of Bear Mountain from up top. Short moderately strenuous hike depending on level and speed. I would rate as easy not moderate. It is very heavily trafficked. We went in around 3:30pm and the trail was busy and even continuing to be busy as we hiked out. In and out moving at a good pace with a couple stops and a break at the top took about 1.5 hours. Trail was overall in good condition. Some mud. No ice.

A nice, easy loop on the Reservation with great pond views, good for dogs, family, walking, and running!

We wanted to take the tank and military road around Broccy Creek to Anthony’s Nose and return via the blue marked trail on the cliffs edge. Unfortunately, the Trail is surrounded by private military property which only allowed us to take the same path from the parking lot to Anthony’s Nose and back. Otherwise, good trail, a bit rocky & muddy. Not suitable for strollers and such.

beautiful!!

Great hike. A bit muddy. But not too bad.

Great hike w son

Steepest part of this is the initial ascent which has lots of stone stairs. Once you get to the top, there are still a lot of up-and-downs throughout, but nothing like the first climb (mostly ridges within the mountains themselves). Think I liked the 3.4 mile portion along Canada Hill the best since was mostly all along the ridge with some rockiness, but still plenty that was easy as well (could trail run most of it). No lookouts/overlooks on this route, but the many mild ascents and change of terrain on the trail kept it somewhat interesting. Probably better to do in warmer seasons when there is actual color, though the winter does allow to see out through the trees.

Great hike w my daughter and wife.

Scramble was super icy. Micro spikes defiantly recommended. Sunrise was still breathtaking!

No swimming allowed (patrolled by park rangers) and very limited parking. If parked in an undesignated spot, your car may be ticketed and/or towed.

Easy late autumn hike. Cold. Windy. Windchill made the temp 22°. No one on trail. But we did hear a scary death scream on top when we were leaving.

It’s horrible on the weekends! Too many rude cyclists. You have to watch your back even riding a bike. Some folks think they own the trail and go super fast despite the fact that there are people running or just walking with their kids or pets. Other than that, it’s pretty and nice to ride on. Some sections seem to be close right now due to construction.

We went on a Sunday morning. Heavy trafficked. It was a decent exercise :)

Good hike, leaves are turning right now.

Was not bad, although basic hike If you like hiking through woods. No clear views much not “cliff over views” if your looking for nice photos. Good to break a sweat and even camp perhaps. Although nothing hard, more “easy” to less moderate
