Great trail with a solid mix of terrain. Boone dawg loved it.

Great for an easy walk, though the lower trail can get very muddy.

Did about 8 miles. Started off at mima cir. The trail was pretty muddy and some part and grass wet from the morning dew. Waterproof footwear recommend. Trail was in good condition. Marked fairly well. Lots of wildlife great scenery. Going to complete the other half in a week or so.

This is a great trail, very diverse. Several ponds and streams open area stocked with bird houses, the trailer eventually leading into a dense worded area. The trails are very clearly marked and well maintained.

I hike this trail often. There are flat sections and hilly sections, as well as branch trails. It is well marked in my opinion. My only piece of advice is that the northern most section between Northside/Dudley and the White Brook nature area tends to get swampy, so be aware of that. There are some great views. In the summer, I plan to do an end-to-end.

Very wet area, everything was mostly frozen. Some places there were a few break thoughs but nothing major.

Did the whole orange trail again - skipping the first part because it was under water last time. The frozen ground mad it much easier and drier. Even though it was in the 30s there were quite a few other people on the trail. It's a great way to explore around Fairport. I especially like the part that is near Indian Hill. Good way to get a bunch of miles under the belt if you are working up to a bigger hike.

Being from Fairport this was kinda on my bucket list to do. Hiked 20 miles total according to my friends tracker which seemed more accurate, just over 19 on AllTrails so I'll call it close to 20. The first part by Dudley/Northside was too wet to cross. We tried building a bridge and when we got to where we thought it was drier... there was just more water. So we walked along the road to get past it. We did an extra blue loop as well. The trails are inconsistently marked - sometimes every tree is marked and some times it takes a bit to find one. And multiple shades of orange were used. Probably should have started at the hilly area but I like a challenge. Some road walking but how can you walk 20 miles in Fairport without crossing roads? The part along Turk Hill was the only part that was remotely nerve racking. People were flying down that road. There are some really beautiful parts to this trail and I am extremely glad I did it. I might make it an annual event.

Not sure if I put this in the right crescent trail one but the recording I did is one of my favorite parts of the trail. It goes around a bunch of ponds and there were ducks, geese, turtles and a couple either white herrings or egrets. The plants are tall so you feel like you are away from others. I love it. Looking forward to doing another long crescent trail hike.

As a native to Fairport I'm glad I did this portion. A lot of good parts but also a good portion of walking near roads and through backyards. I would try another portion.
