Nice trail, the stream is beautiful and it is dog friendly as long as they are on leash!

Beautiful place. The trails are a little difficult to follow at some points - needs to be more markers. Otherwise, a really nice, easy hike. Kid friendly. Not muddy.

This trail is beautiful! The only problem is the trail markers are sparse at points where the trail splits making it difficult to stay on. If we hadn’t had the trail app we would have been lost. It was still overall worth it!

One of my favorite local hikes

Great for young kids (we brought a toddler) and dogs! The beginning of the trail could have used some cutting back to keep ticks at bay (we left with to some ticks despite spray use). However the walk was easy, had no trouble following the trail and enjoyed the river! Bugs weren’t awful in early October and the leaves were beautiful!

Love Christmans but it’s starting to get overgrown and trail markers fade making it hard to stay on trail! Otherwise very great place.

Short hike with Angela and Connor at Schenectady Preserve. We saw a bunch of little frogs and a baby snake.

Very good short hike with a beautiful water fall. Hike up to the top of falls and cross the river bed to get on the more lightly used orange trail that takes you along the ridge overlooking the creek. Great for beginners, would recommend.

Some parts are over grown but it is well marked and easy to follow. It’s an easy trail with a pond. However if you don’t see the bench you will miss the opening for the pond. There are plants with clusters of prickers (I’m not sure of the name) so be cautious. Other wise it is a beautiful home mostly in the shade.

The trail from the parking lot through the blue loop to the waterfall is well-traveled. It appears that the opposite side of both the blue and orange loops are less traveled and therefore overgrown in many places. But, what a great spot!

Great trail. Very muddy today after the rain. The other thing is that to get to the orange trail you will have to cross the stream meaning you will have to walk through the water wear appropriate attire for this trail. I always go hiking here with my dog just keep her on leash and she absolutely loves it. Would recommend the blue for absolute beginners and orange for more veteran beginners to get into hiking and having amazing views.

Great hike. A little muddy in a few spots but easy to walk around. Really nice people (except for one family) met out on the trail and at the falls. Even my Aunt, 76 years old today hiked it with no problem. I think that there should be more markers on the trails.

Great trail. It was open when we went. Trails could have been a little better marked in some spots.

Drove all the way there and it was closed due to vandalism

Great trail, been many times. Just tried to go today, though, and it was closed "due to vandalism" :(

more trail markers needed in some areas

Easy short hike to view some nice falls. Trails could be a little better marked but really not that hard to follow. Like most places the evidence of previous hikers is a little disappointing (vapor cig, trash, fire ring, alcohol bottles).

Beautiful trails year round. Currently very icy, microspikes required.

It’s a nice trail. It was a little over grown in a few areas. Bring bug spray.
