Great hike! Can be heavily trafficked at times, you aren’t allowed in the creek and it is monitored with by a park ranger to keep hikers out of the creek. Waterfalls are beautiful. Trail is wet and slippery, highly recommend shoes that have good grip.

We also camped during Labor Day weekend. Decent campsite, great firewood for sale at a barn at the top of the hill before you turn towards the entrance to the park (highly recommend purchasing from them). Camp site was well kept, but the ground was extremely hard from all the use it gets, even the dogs didn’t want to lay on it without something soft under them. Make sure you bring a sleeping pad. Sites aren’t very secluded so be prepared to make friends with your neighbors.
