Crawford, New York Map

We camp here a few times a year and we always take a family hike with the dogs on these trails. These easy trails are what got our family into hiking in the first place. Easy, enjoyable, peaceful. Would recommend to any beginner hiker or to a casual walker that just wants to enjoy nature.

The ice caves are way cool.

A beautiful and peaceful place I’m so glad I came

I’ve been there multiple times in the past. I try to convince my mom to take me every Saturday. We take our dog and he loves it.

Not a bad place to start for beginner hikers who want a challenge. The views are great in the end. I went here today, end of summer, and the path was easy, clean and quick. Dog-friendly. Trail-runners-friendly.

Fun little loop the bridges and ladders are fun as well as the caves lit up by lights.

Pretty awesome and easy. Took our small kids (5&3) and they did great.

on Diamond Lake Loop

okay hike. blazes disappeared for a while. kid friendly.

Nice to do the loop trail 2.5 miles and ice cave .5 miles. Nice cool spot though no snow or ice ( it is August). Saw immature eagle, bobcat and water snake at lake. Was my wife and 2 girls (14 & 9). Wild blue and huckleberry everywhere.

Nice local trai

there at noon on Thur. only 3 others on ice caves trail. nice hike... stone stairs & ladder climbs..great day!

Awesome - short hike but worth the drive upstate!

This was a fun area to hike. Cave temperatures are nice and cool, so it was nice to get out of the heat when I was there. Was told there is Ice on the trail 9 months of the year, but it was all dry when I was there in August. There are some sections that are narrow, but overall not that difficult of a trail. There is a section where you are above ground and walking near open pits/crevices which could be pretty dangerous if you are not careful, but its one of my favorite trails yet.

great little trail for a casual hiking with a fellow rock enthusiast
