This place is incredible in terms of visual aesthetic. It is so beautiful. The Falls itself had me in awe of the power it generated. My dog had the best time exploring all of the new scents and sights. I'd just suggest being careful on the steps, as they get slippery.

Short, easy and beautiful walk to the falls.

Well maintained trail. A little steep in spots if you have a young/older hiker. A quick walk with more than one great view of these impressive falls. Definitely recommend!

it's flat and straight because it's a section of an old rail road bed that's now part of the North Country Trail. Youll find old rail road ties, nails and other hardware. there's a couple Bridges over Chittenango Creek so watch your step! no great views but very pretty and well maintained.

Beautiful sites but I found the trail to short of a walk. Easy trail to follow.

Beautiful waterfall. The hike is easy but there are steps. I did this hike years ago with my family when I wasn’t in as good shape and i did it easily. My young children 6/8 at the time did it with no problem. It is a definite must see. Bring your camera, you won’t be disappointed

I'm in my late 50's and not in awesome shape anymore...this trail was my first since breaking my ankle last year and a few days after throwing my back out : ( so it was challenging for me, but so worth the effort! Lots of wildflowers and a few birds and chipmunks along the way. The view at the bottom is spectacular!

Straight and flat snowmobile trail, still some quality views and varied geography

Just a flat straight back road...nothing really exciting or different on it. Nothing special to hike.

This was a nice easy trail that took less than an hour at a leisurely pace. We are from Portland Oregon area and this was a great falls to see on the east coast! I would recommend it to anyone who would like an easy view point or enjoys a short hike.

With most of the art spaced out around the property this is a great place to spend an afternoon discovering the art along the trails. There are many beautiful pieces that come along with an audio tour, but my battery was too low to run it during my visit. This is a great trip you can make alone or with friends/family. It’s family- friendly, along with some table space to allow for picnic lunches.

Easy downhill hike with a great view of this massive waterfall. It also has some interesting history.

Nice short hike around the waterfall. The bridge down the fall is a great viewing spot.

Pretty waterfall, reasonably large. But....more of a picnic area than a real trail.

The falls are very close to parking. You just go down a bunch of stairs. But there are great trails that are really well marked. Easy hiking, I went on a rainy, cold fall day and no one else was out there! Awesome!

Don't go in the morning hours if you're planning on taking photos, as the light is not conducive. Still a gorgeous little hike!

Great trail for taking pictures, the waterfall is huge. We hiked with a 6 year old and a baby in a backpack. I would agree the "easy" could be misleading- it can be easy if you want to stay around the top where the parking lot is, and enjoy the view from the top of the waterfall but it could be very difficult for someone with joint problems to get to the bottom of the falls and back up- lots of stairs or switchbacks. That being said the trail was well maintained when we were there and "easy" for our six year old to navigate and the footing was good- not slippery or wet. There is no swimming allowed, there is a small park with playground and bathroom facilities at the top near the parking lot as well. Would recommend going at least once as the waterfall is the largest I've seen on a natural hike (excluding Niagara Falls).

One of my favorite waterfalls to visit every year. It's beautiful no matter what the season!

Hiked trail down to Chittenango creek...perfect for a relaxing walk with our dog.
$5.00 admission per xar is well worth the overlook of falls and several outreaching trails to mwadows and creek.
