I did this beautiful a hike a few years back. Really awesome hike, and the trail was in great shape. Stewart Lake was clearly visible but not accessible when I went due to the area around the shoreline being very wet. With the appropriate gear you could probably get to the water, or perhaps if you are adventurous and find a route around the other side of the lake. Indian Lake is simply spectacular. The trail just opens up the shore of the lake, and it's nothing but peace, quiet, and a beautiful lake with a small wooded mountain in the backdrop. What more could you want out of the Adirondacks?

Great trail. Bring a stick to help cross the stream since it is slippery. Also , do not follow the snowmobile trail. The map at the trailhead says the snowmobile trail leads to the lake but it does not.

Loved this trail! The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. Very easy and would be a great hike for kids.

Great hike through the woods that is very family friendly as well and a gorgeous lake at the "end" to enjoy as well. Can be a lil muddy when its rained or has been a wet season.

Very pretty hike. Wasn't too difficult to follow, there were plenty of trail markers. There were a couple spots where you had no choice but to go through the creek or the mud. The lake was a pretty view but was very buggy. Overall a good hike, especially for novice hikers.

Had a hard time following the trail even with the markers. Got to the top and had no idea where to go, I guess you are supposed to cross the damn but it's pretty washed out. Prepare to get wet shoes! Had to cross a steam a bunch of times. Would have been a better hike if we left the dogs out in this one

This was a fun and relatively easy walk. A little muddy in places but can always go round to avoid. The lake is pretty but more for a paddle than a swim. Same with the two waterfalls. Excellent family hike.

Great views of the waterfalls along Jockeybush outlet. Had to detour off the trail to find a log that crossed the outlet stream which proved to be a lot more difficult then I thought!

I felt like I was walking forever, I don't think we even made it that far, my friends and I got off the trail and explored up the river after a while and we found some pretty cool things.

This was a quick hike up to the firetower. The trail is so to speak boring and not marked.

A real easy hike that passes by two or more waterfalls and concludes with stunning views of Jockeybush Lake.
