Great trail! Swimming at the lake, as well as camping. Fun for the whole family.

Trail was in great shape, kid and dog friendly. Fire tower at provides good views.

short hike to tower. very buggy this day not even bug spray would work.

The short route to the top is a fairly quick and enjoyable hike to one of the greatest bang for your buck hikes in all the Adirondacks! This is also a great way to at least get your feet wet in some relatively steep climbing if you desire to do some more challenging mountains. Awesome for dogs, kids, and people of all ages! Also great for snowshoeing!

Packed snow on the trail from snowmobiles. No ice or flooding today. Very windy and cold out on the lake, otherwise the walk up was warm since it was 40*f.

Had a nice snowshoe in. The trail was a little rutted from people bare-booting. We had lunch at one of the remote points. Didn't see a soul all day; very peaceful.

I love this trail, go at least once a year. We always go to the rock where the kids like to jump off. I wish there was a way for me to bring in a paddle board. With it being a "dead lake". You can see pretty far down

great walking, hiking trail to lake. large trail at first, small trails around lake. lots of poison ivy on trail to the right (on NE side of lake -- beyond the rock wall). the rock wall is neat b/c you can hear the water running beneath and feeding into the wetland. there is a beaver lodge in the lake, as well.
