Very nice hiking, bring some bread because there are hundreds of cat fish that love to eat. And some big snapping turtles out in the water. Very peaceful and remote area !!

This is a wonderful trail if you enjoy getting off the beaten path a bit. Not every trail needs to be a highway. The trail is only sporadically marked and lightly trafficked -- both big pluses. Lots of beautiful views across the marsh, interesting plant species and impressive hemlocks. The woods are open and you are going around the marsh so getting lost is impossible. There are a few wet spots. At the northeast corner you will interesect a much more heavily marked but unused DEC trail which heads off to the north. We followed it for a while and it is nice but we do not know where it goes. Enjoy!

this is a lake formed by a glacier, make sure to read the signage. it's very interesting to explore around and walk along the lake. there's a walkway that goes into the lake and a diverse set of terrain. it's absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

This place is filled with a lot of wonderful varieties of nature in such a small area. Large schools of catfish, snapping turtles, heron, water snakes, and carnivorous pitcher plants. Just please don’t be a turd and leave your garbage behind.

Great trail with plenty to see. The main, well used trail takes you around Moss Lake. Moss Lake is a nature preserve and the lake is slowly being buried in moss. Dogs are allowed, and if you bring a couple of pieces of bread, the catfish love to be fed.

Ok, let's start with the good points. The views where nice. And that's it. Ok now the bad. The trail was not marked very well, if at all. Thank god, I used my phone and someone else had posted the way they went. A lot of it was trail blazing and bush whacking. Now it is not a full loop. You get to the end and you have to walk back the way you came. Or you can trail blaze, and bush whacking your way to the road. If the trail was marked better, and it was a full loop, this would be a nice trail.
