This was the first time going to this location and I was very impressed! Although it was very muddy, I was surprised by how much wildlife there was to see. Also, because of COVID-19, the docks were closed including a few side trails.

Love the loop and the trail

Walking this trail during gosling season leaves a LOT of hostile geese on the trail if you start from the NFB end. Start from the other end and you won’t have a problem for the first 3.5 miles. Starting at Niagara Falls Blvd. the first 2 miles are chock full of geese and goslings in May.

very nice loop to walk on a sunny afternoon or during a nice sunrise/sunset. Not very long but very relaxing with nice views.

I've walked this many times to observe the natural wildlife. There are tons of species of birds, many of which will eat out of your hand. There are plentiful deer and small animals about, as well as turtles and waterfowl.

The directions were very confusing. I eventually figured out that the parking lot is shared with an assistant living facility. The name of the park is Amherst State Park, I never saw a “Glen Park” sign. The loop was short but I enjoyed the scenery and nature. My 7 year old loved the water.

An easy going stroll in the park. Minimal mud and elevation. Many of the boardwalks and buildings are closed due to COVID-19. Great for kids I’d imagine

Muddy and not well marked. Be ready with a ATV and or mud boots! Fun to see how much area is around this spot. I never expect how much land there was to explore. No bridge despite name and water was way too high to cross without a ATV. ATVs were on the trail when we were there. We got all turned around so don’t follow my path :) We had a fun unexpected mudding on foot hike.

Trails were intermittently riddled with mud. However still a Great place to hike with the family. Paths are well labeled. Lots of wildlife. Stumbled upon a family of geese- followed behind them slowly as we followed the trail out. Didn’t want to startle them and lose one of the babies! After awhile they trailed off so we could get by.

A bit muddy but easy to navigate around. Easy to follow trails; nice boardwalk over water. Low background noise from highway is constant, for those looking for quiet.

10/10 recommend. Kid + dog friendly. Route starts at a park which has many play grounds, pavilions with grills, a outdoor gym, tennis, soccer , Frisbee golf and many other activities to do. Mostly flat + paved trail leads along beautiful scenery.

This is a great loop to stroll, but I wouldn't recommend while social distancing. Park is packed! Runners have no etiquette w/ spitting & not practicing the 6' distance rule. Not Covid friendly in my opinion.

I followed the directions from the app and it took me to Amherst Memorial Park. After walking around in the woods on a barely visible ice path, I used my GPS to the actual park. The waterfall is visible from the street. I walked up to the waterfall and was able to take a path that goes higher than the waterfall for awesome views. Other than the houses in the background, this waterfall is beautiful!
