Flat, easy walk that we (and our dog) enjoyed. Nice view of the pond at the end even on a rainy day.

Trail was good. Thought there would be more people but we go to Moose lake and it was totally empty, which was great. Great big rocks to bask on or to go swimming from. Be sure to take bug spray as the mosquitos are voracious on 1.5mi hike in. Lake and views are definitely worth the hike. Rated 5 for the lake and view, 3 for the bugs on the trail.

Fun easy hike to the pond. Lots of snow down but it was packed well. We got by fine with microspikes. You could probably do it with just boots because there is very little grade. Nice and tranquil ending. Probably took a total of 1.5 hours out and back.

The pond was amazing, the hike was very easy and flat, even though the day that we went was rainy we still loved it! There was no beach that we saw but there was a great rock to have a picnic on!

We hiked this trail with our three German short haired pointers. It was an easy dog friendly hike that allowed us and them to swim in the pond. The trail was very quiet and in fact we were the only ones on it. The view of the mountains surrounding the pond is breathtaking and peaceful. The only drawback is that there is no easy access to the pond at the end of the trail, but there is a rocky area that allows access to the water. Overall it's a hike that we'll repeat again with the dogs.

The only difficulty was that the entrance from the road is not marked. we drove by a few times before figuring out what must be the entrance.

One of our favorite spots to day hike.

This is one of our favorite places. There are a few small trails that go around the pond that lead to primitive camping spots as well as great places to fish or rock jump. We love to jump off the rocks and paddle around the pond - no motors are allowed so its a nice peaceful paddle. This year we camped on one of the outcrops - fell asleep to the loons playing on the pond and woke up to Whiteface. Beautiful spot.
