This was really pretty with a lot of wildflowers in bloom. We took the white trail and saw the waterfall for a nice surprise. We also saw a blue jay and a few butterflies.

Easy, casual walk. Wooden walkways are well kept.

I think I hit the quarantine jackpot: I was there at noon on a gorgeous Saturday and no one else anywhere to be found! Parking lot empty, trail all to myself. One of the most tranquil hikes I’ve had in recent months. Trails were not too muddy. I only wish the trail was longer!

This trail is great for kids so much wildlife to see especially in the spring and summer!! Easy walk from start to finish but just be aware for lots of mud after rain. Overall great trail and highly recommend!!

LOVED this quick and easy trail! Handicap accessible and kid friendly. They also added adorable “creepy crawly” toys that are nailed to trees, benches, etc. It was like my son and I’s own personal scavenger hunt today. We loved it!

Really nice and easy trail that is all boardwalk and in the shade

Took the kids, who had a great time. Short trip, great views, nice local hike.

2.5 miles today

Super quiet very peaceful hike... there was a lot of muddy parts but it is spring so mud is to be expected especially with all the springs and creeks in the area. Loved that we had to walk through the creek to continue on the walk.

More so a park but still beautiful with its paved trails.

Great hike. Not overly demanding but not an easy stroll either. Quiet with lots of wildlife.

This trail is perfect when you need a shorter walk and nothing too far away. It’s a good place to bring kids- the colorful plastic bugs placed along the trail gives them something to look for. My only caution is that the wood on the boardwalk gets slippery when it’s wet out. Otherwise, an unexpectedly pleasant trail.

Great trail extremely muddy in spots! You definitely need boots to cross the creek! I almost turned back when I reached it! Glad I made it over the rest of the trail had some huge rocks and streams. We did have to walk about 1/4 of a mile back to our car! Definitely worth the trip!

Nice pine bush preserve — looks like it’d be a great running trail. Lots of birds! You do see the backs of houses throughout much of the trail , but besides that it’s a great walk

It’s nice for an easy stroll or run on a paved surface or along the path. There’s nothing special about it really. Pleasant but not scenic.

Has a nice stopping point with a bench to look over the Mohawk River. Also nice path along Shaker Creek. There is an extra White Spur trail (0.3 miles) that is not shown on the All Trails map that comes off the south side of the Orange Trail and reconnects with it.

I really enjoyed this trail. A word of caution - at the beginning where it is quite muddy and social distancing may be impossible. People were parking along the road because the parking lot was too wet. The beginning of the trail is a narrow board which is fine as long as people take turns. Although it is a loop trail nearly everyone starts near the park sign and travels clockwise. The end of the trail exit onto the road and you must hike approximately 1/4 mile back to the beginning. The advantage of this is that people will not be coming at you in the opposite direction. There are a number of streams to cross including one where inevitably you will have to wade ankle deep in the water. I found it rather pleasant even in April. Toward the end of the trail there is very interesting geology.

Trail has been rerouted and you can’t go around the loop. You walk until the loop then it says trail is being rerouted and to follow the green trail. Well maintained trail but not what this says.

Great trail. Mostly easy but a few tricky spots to keep it interesting.

What a nice trail. Extremely well marked. Nice up and downs, differing landscapes. Nice streams to cross. This has become one of my favorite trails. The only downer is that at the end of the trail you do have to walk on the road for maybe a quarter of a mile to get back to the parking lot. No big deal as there was no traffic. Beautiful trail, I’ll be on it again Did not see anyone on the trail.

Short fun trail with nice views of the lake. Lots of birds singing! Also some interesting home-constructions nearby on the drive in/out if that’s your thing.

Good for a quick walk with small kids , but a little too short&easy for my liking

great little thing. perfect for when things have been rainy. marshlands around are beautiful.

Very well maintained trail. We came here in April, the creek is a little challenging.

Good for small children or maybe quick local exercise walking.

Great short walk with kids. All boardwalks, and the kids had a blast running on the boardwalk. As other folks have mentioned, there are little plastic lizards and frogs attached to a number of benches and railings, which made it fun for the kids to hunt for these! I could see it being buggy in the summer as lots of swampy areas and small streams, but it was great in early April.

Easy walk- a bit muddy at the moment but it’s mud season. The short hills makes for a visually interesting walk with a creek.
