Nice quiet trail..great mildly gradual incline surrounded by trees and a few wildflowers. Parking area by road watch closely for signs. Dusty and very dry but nice breeze...would recommend for a nice workout without the crowds...

Easy to moderate, depending on the weather. Impossible to miss. Not very frequented. Took me (woman, 210lbs) 2:45 hours including two ten minutes breaks.

Navigation app takes you to a gate of the local association. You will have to hike in to the trail head. First third to half is well defined. After that it’s hit or miss. Terrain is rugged and awesome. It is deceptive that the trail is 2.2, but it’s a lot of up and down the side of the gorge. Pants are preferred. Saw one couple exiting the trail and no one else so, lightly used. We loved it and will return. All Trails was spot on.

Lovely trail. Washrooms available at the start. Picnic tables at several points around the trail!

The trail is a good stretch of the legs. Not too much for wildlife but did see a few deer, osprey and a lizard. The trail is lined with piles of down timber, hundreds if not thousands of piles.

Went there on 4/28 loved it some hiking with the bike then the fun starts. You can get some speed good paths you really can’t go off course. It’s more fun than work will do again.

Nice hike, be prepared, at some points there are 23 degrees step, while at the creek, stop, enjoy the quietness , beautiful, deers, squirrels and a lot of beautiful birds.

Not sure if I’d rate this easy. More moderate but great hike.

Good easy to moderate hike, little long, kinda the same ol same ol, enjoyed it

It was a good hike, the terrain is good with a couple good inclines. There is a part where if you go right”don’t do this” you will be far off course. There’s a rock that you climb up and continue on the course.. there are few patches of thicket. But it’s a great view when you get to the top!

Nice little walk, go early, sit by the waterfall, enjoy the silence..

First time on this trail. Great! The views of Sierra Blanca are very nice. A couple of steep climbs, but nothing too difficult. A very well maintained trail! Birds!

Just finished this trail. Saw about ten (10) Deer, lots of birds and the Creek and it's many pools are great scenery along the way.

Nice hike and some good views! Some spots of loose rock/gravel.

Great hike; take the miners trail on the way back to the starting route for beautiful vistas. It borders being strenuous at some points and isn’t well marked, so bring GPS if you take that part of the loop. Saw deer, horned toad, birds.

I parked at the (locked) gate near the end of FR 127A and then walked about a half mile to the Telephone Canyon Trailhead. You kinda meander past some houses, and then the trailhead is behind the last cabin. I forgot to take a picture, but at about .5-.6 mi there is a spring on the left of the trail, just as you're making a switchback to the left. I started seeing/hearing a lot of birds at around 7,500'. As you make your way to the Crest Trail, to the right you can see the Monjeau Lookout Tower. It was pretty windy up there. so other than just a few stops to take in the view and snap a pic or two, I made my way to the Miner's Rd Trail asap. I initially missed the turnoff to Miner's Rd Trail and ended up having to backtrack a little bit. Miner's Rd Trial is pretty rugged. (Once you find it) it's really easy to follow, it's just that this area was burned out pretty thoroughly in '12 and there are still many, many downed logs to navigate. It starts to get a lot prettier towards the end of the trail. There are several springs and the water was flowing at a decent rate the day I saw it. There's a pretty (small) waterfall where the Miner's Rd Trail and the N Eagle Creek trail come together. From there, it's just a simple walk of about .75 mi back to your car. It took me about 4.5 hrs, but I stopped to sit and watch the birds, I stopped to have lunch, and a few other times just to take everything in and enjoy the view so don't pay too much attention to my time. I enjoyed this hike, but I prefer the Argentina/Crest/Bonito Loop. Enjoy!

This trail was beautiful but with all the debris, it was very difficult to get up the mountain. There also is no clear trail so be sure you have your map ready. I really enjoyed this hike, but it should be marked as Hard because I took novice hikers with me and they really struggled.

Hiked up Telephone Canyon, which was relatively strenuous as it was an incline the whole way to Crest Trail. It was mostly burnt out, but that presented some great views of the snow-capped Lookout and Sierra Blanca peaks. Once got to Crest Trail and back down Miner’s Road, it was easy. Tough at points to follow Miner’s Road because there is little defined trail, and a lot of fallen trees, so be sure to have your phone charged up.

Love this trail right out of the rainbow lake camp ground fun trail after a morning breakfast!!!

Did this loop (T92->T93) with my wife and sister-in-law, all of us avid hikers, on a beautiful winter day, highs in the 60s. Must say, not our favorite. Heading up the "easy" T92 is fine, although you're hiking up the canyon, basically spending time in or crossing the wash, replete with rocks and stones. But that was trivial compared with the "difficult" crossover and descent down T93! Very rocky and a bit hard to follow in places (good news: all seem to get you back except the branch at the top you need to pay attention to). For sure, hiking poles help. Vistas are great albeit partially blocked by trees. Good for one time we all agreed.

This is very nice trail with wonderful views, me and my granddaughter did it in January in a beautiful day, steep but easy to hike. We returned by the mining road and was not difficult to find the trail.

Good trail definitely steep and will get your heart rate up. Distance is good, round trip took us 2 hrs with multiple pauses to rest. Saw a squirrel and some birds would definitely hike this trail again!

Good simple trail with moderate terrain, great for the wife

We started at T93 and hiked the loop to T92 back to our car. Spectacular views, and signs of wildlife everywhere. Well marked, aside from a few wooden trail signs knocked over, but just follow T92 and you'll stay on track. Time well spent, phenomenal hike.

Trail was extremely easy. Good for my 3 year old but too easy for my 8 year old. The creek at the outer edge of the loop was nice.

For a hike with kids, this was awesome. Beautiful views. Trail was easy enough for the kids but not so easy that it was boring.

LOVED this one! The lake was beautiful, and not too crowded when we were there in the summer!

Great trail, took my wife and kids.

Nice route, well marked even in light snow the trail contours are easy enough to see. I did accidentally close app map at peak so we used the "green" sierra Blanca ski trail back the base.
