This was a lovely trail to hike. There were many switchbacks, beautiful views of the lake, and surrounding mountains.

Good hike with views of lake for two of us in mid 70s.

Definitely easy trail but if you’re not prepared, you’ll be wiped out at the end. This is one of the most beautiful trails me and my family has EVER accomplished. Hundreds of breathtaking views! Takes a few hours if you’re in it for the scenery... have fun!

It's amazing that minutes from the village you can hop on this nice trail and be in the national Forest. It's a well marked trail with just the right amount of challenge for a family or "older" person.

I wouldn’t classify this trail as easy - the altitude and change in elevation was pretty strenuous. But it was challenging and fun and gorgeous. A dip in the chilly lake on a hot July day was the perfect reward and the end of the run.

A bit dry, needs rain in area, but still a wonderful morning hike. Lots of birds, a few lizards, and 3 deer spotted. Do watch for horse poop on trail.

Did this as a hike to get acclimated to elevation. Good trail, easy to navigate. Uphill the first two miles, with lots of long easy to run switchbacks in the middle. Last mile or so back down was quite rocky. Went out about 10:30am, not a lot of tree cover so bring your hat.

Good family hike. Just went a mile out and back due to time restraints. Have to share the trail with mountain bikers.

We started this hike late in the afternoon with our 8 yr old and 4 pups. It was a moderate hike with some areas being a bit steep. Overall a great hike with some really nice views. Very few people on the trail which made this really nice and enjoyable. I would recommend using the map in the app because there are some areas where the trail splits. It took us a couple of hours but we took our time to enjoy everything.

My sister and I are in our 50’s and we hiked about 2 miles. We walked uphill past several secluded cabins for about a 1/2 mile to reach the trailhead. It was a continuous but gradual climb for about another 1 1/2 miles. We reached a very steep climb up a mountain and decided we didn’t have enough energy for that so we turned around. We saw lots of burned trees and logs. We loved the vistas and the birds singing. We saw a blue jay. We only met two couples. It was a very quiet trail. I would consider it close to a hard trail.

Well marked easy trail with some nice views of the lake.

It was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be. I probably wouldn’t take children on this hike because it was rocky in lots of places and there were many places to slip. I would rate this as more moderate.

Always a favorite of mine! Beautiful views of the turquoise lake! Nice hike for day 1 when I'm aclimating to the altitude difference.

Did this for Father's Day with my family of four; ages 3yrs (used a backpack to carry most of the hike) 5yrs, 29yrs and 32yrs. Really enjoyed the hike and hope to do more around this area

Nice trail. Mostly good footing, very well marked and has some nice views of the lake and Sierra Blanca. It’s a good run and fun! I would not call this an “easy” run, but it’s definitely enjoyable. More like moderate.

We hiked this trail in June with temps in low 80s. It is indeed a mostly moderate trail but there are some very steep climbs and some of the terrain going down is steep and very rocky and slippery that are a bit challenging. Take a hiking stick for stability. We would not recommend taking your dog without some little dog booties due to the parts of rocky terrain. most of the hike is shaded and beautiful. We saw an elk and wild turkey. when you reach the top of the mountain, make sure you take the correct turn to go back. glad we had this app to help us ensure we were on the correct trail as we did make a wrong turn and had to double back. overall worth the hike.

this trail is fun. a lot of small rivers.the top is a little steep but i think its kid friendly. awesome view from the top!dont take your husband with you three kids is too many.

drive to the trail head or its going to take way too long. first thing you have to do is get across a small river. your going to start passing cabins and wondering who the heck lives out here . you might even be a tad stressed that there could be hobos out there to rob you. dont worry , no hobos.i did this with my four and six year old. its pretty easy until you get into the white mountain wilderness.the ledges are steep and my daughter really needed a harness.seriously its one wrong step away from the emergency room and she was in lala land picking wildflowers. there is a cave towards the end of the trail. i would recommend packing some heat before checking that out.

Easy to moderate, depending on the weather. Impossible to miss. Not very frequented. Took me (woman, 210lbs) 2:45 hours including two ten minutes breaks.

Navigation app takes you to a gate of the local association. You will have to hike in to the trail head. First third to half is well defined. After that it’s hit or miss. Terrain is rugged and awesome. It is deceptive that the trail is 2.2, but it’s a lot of up and down the side of the gorge. Pants are preferred. Saw one couple exiting the trail and no one else so, lightly used. We loved it and will return. All Trails was spot on.

The trail is a good stretch of the legs. Not too much for wildlife but did see a few deer, osprey and a lizard. The trail is lined with piles of down timber, hundreds if not thousands of piles.

Went there on 4/28 loved it some hiking with the bike then the fun starts. You can get some speed good paths you really can’t go off course. It’s more fun than work will do again.

Not sure if I’d rate this easy. More moderate but great hike.

Good easy to moderate hike, little long, kinda the same ol same ol, enjoyed it

First time on this trail. Great! The views of Sierra Blanca are very nice. A couple of steep climbs, but nothing too difficult. A very well maintained trail! Birds!

Did this loop (T92->T93) with my wife and sister-in-law, all of us avid hikers, on a beautiful winter day, highs in the 60s. Must say, not our favorite. Heading up the "easy" T92 is fine, although you're hiking up the canyon, basically spending time in or crossing the wash, replete with rocks and stones. But that was trivial compared with the "difficult" crossover and descent down T93! Very rocky and a bit hard to follow in places (good news: all seem to get you back except the branch at the top you need to pay attention to). For sure, hiking poles help. Vistas are great albeit partially blocked by trees. Good for one time we all agreed.

We started at T93 and hiked the loop to T92 back to our car. Spectacular views, and signs of wildlife everywhere. Well marked, aside from a few wooden trail signs knocked over, but just follow T92 and you'll stay on track. Time well spent, phenomenal hike.

For a hike with kids, this was awesome. Beautiful views. Trail was easy enough for the kids but not so easy that it was boring.
