The road to this hike isn’t good and took awhile. Before we got to the start of the marked trail there was a No Trespassing sign.
Never got to see the arch.
Bummer

Fun, easy walk through some ancient ruins.

My profile picture is of this hike! Super lovely but very hot, leave your older fur babies at home

Nice for a quick walkthrough.

The wash crossing is deep loose sand with steep embankments on either side and it would be a gamble without 4WD, I wouldn't suggest it but at the very least get out and walk it first to make sure. Note the 'getting there' directions, 19 miles to the small Crow Canyon sign...when Google navigated me here, it directed me to turn one road too soon down a gas line access road to a very wide and definitely impassable section of the wash (even with an ATV or OHV you'd have to go up or downstream to find an exit point). HOWEVER... If you don't have 4x4, you can park down this road which is directly across the wash from the trailhead and just cross the wash on foot, walk maybe 1/2 mile to the trailhead, it will be quite a bit shorter than if you bail out at the wash crossing on the actual access road. Anyhow, the area is more beautiful than i expected, a lot like Utah. Also hiked up the bluff behind, not a lot to be seen up there but just enjoyed the day and scenery of the canyon. A shame that people have added some of their own graffiti to the canyon walls but the petroglyphs are more interesting than most that I've seen elsewhere. Also one small ruin at the entrance.

Fun short hike. Was doable with three kids.

nice and easy with three small kids!

Drove an hour to get out there to find the road blocked off. This trail is closed till mid april for “restoration”... bummer but decided to walk the san juan river trails instead and it was an absolute delight! NM has enchanted me once again

Closed to public for restoration construction through April 15, 2018. Still beautiful to walk along the river though. Will be back when accessible!

Great short adventure hike. Walk along a boulder filled shelf about a cottonwood filled canyon with live water. Very nice surprise
