WalkingGreat!

Beautiful views of Sandias and foothills on way out and the Rio Grande Valley on way back. All Trails valuable on this hike since there are a lot of alternatives. Also, wear hiking boots. Trail can be rocky. I brought my dog and trail gets narrow when bikes pass by.

Definitely loud due to the road. Runs past fiesta grounds

This trail passes through land that is protected. A ranger stopped us at the top of the cliff and had us return to the main trail. Do not use.

If you have the time while in ABQ, it's worth a trip. There is a stunning view of the city and Sandias. Bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Well maintained paths, adequate signage.

Nicely maintained, steady hike. There’s no shade whatsoever, so bring a good hat, cover up, and wear sunscreen. Also, there were tons and tons of millipedes all along the trail when I went, so if you’re not into that seeing tons of creepy crawlers, then keep that in mind.

The scenery and silence was breathtaking, encountered two coyotes from afar but was enough to spook us with our medium sized dog. Just make some noise if you see em

Soooo many petroglyphs to see if you have a good eye. Ropes guide you along this flat and sandy loop trail but they do keep you at an unfortunate distance from the rocks. I was there at the end of July in triple digit temps which was rough but outside of summer time this would be doable for just about anyone. There are no trees here so no shade - keep that in mind for the summer months.
