Wonderful trail for kids. A little narrow for a stroller though. Mix of shade and sun.

this is an okay trail, but there is no shade and no restroom near

Worth seeing! Enjoyed the macaw and other glyphs.

Nice and easy trail. Unfortunately the river edge trail is currently under water, but the fact it connects to so many other trails makes it good if you’re looking for a nice work-out.

Great hike! Steep down the oso trail but had beautiful views of both the sandias and out to the west.

This trail has some absolutely gorgeous views and was a really enjoyable way to spend a Sunday morning. However, it was not marked at all so I would highly recommend keeping the AllTrails map feature open. We ended up accidentally adding on nearly two miles since we accidentally followed oso ridge portion instead of the loop. For pedometer users, I had 15.8k steps and 174 flights of stairs on Fitbit. There was also a pretty decent amount of gravel on both the way up and way down, so be careful. Overall, highly recommend it!

Great beginner trail, not much elevation gain, entire loop is only about 15 min to get to the top and back down.

Easy short and crowded. Petroglyphs look like they were done by some hippies in the 60’s but now I’m dating myself.

Interesting and simple trail, good for children. Love seeing the petroglyphs!

This trail is the easiest of the Petroglyph National Monument trails. It also has the least amount of glyphs. There was also a lot more people at this location. Nice little walk, though.

Wandered to see the petroglyphs which were lovely. Trail is very easy and rather short. Good view from the top.

Pretty easy, introductory trail. Took us about 45 min for the first loop taking our time to read all the signs and take pictures. The second two are much shorter, and faster, but took our time.

Love hiking this little loop with my dog. I hiked counterclockwise, Embudito canyon up and Oso ridge down. Water flowing in the canyon, rocky and slippery but easy to navigate. Great views off Oso ridge, just know it is steep with loose rock. One of my go to short moderate hikes. Enjoy!

Great hike but we lost our keys at the trailhead today! The ring has many keys, one with a zia print, a cathead bottle opener, and a dog leash clasp. Please email dashiellhock@gmail.com if found!

Not much of a trail and just a short path. there are other trails connecting. It's OK.

Nice area to hike in the city. Busy trail, but connects into many trails, so you can hike for hours. Pleasant year round I've found.

Just hiked this trail with friends stumbled across this loop on accident but loved it! There are amazing views along Oso Ridge! We hiked up Oso Ridge and down Embudito. I would recommend doing it the opposite way. Some snow here in early March but no big deal.

Very nice trail system. Dog friendly.

What a great little gym in Abq.’s backyard! So many different trails and paths...Great little outing if you don’t want to go far out of town and lots of birds and fun wildlife to see you!

Beautiful place and very easy to navigate trails
