Great place to ride the bike, get up close and personal to the famous lighthouse and enjoy some history and great views. Very well markes, easy to get around and they have a number of "bike stops" with tools for repairing a bike.

Very nice trail for bikes, walking and running.

This place is fine. I was near by and I got curious so I stopped by for a walk. The whole town is deserted though after the hurricane. I don’t think anyone lives here any more. Don’t stay here after the dark. It’s creepy.

Had a great time. Will visit again.

Very easy trail.

4.10.19. A fine hike that is a curious mix of oystercatchers, ospreys, nudists, fishermen and vintage military ordnance. I parked up by Atlantic Drive (no fees at this time of year) and then headed 5.1 miles down the beach. There’s no elevation to speak of, but the sand will give your legs a work out nonetheless. (Note there are no dogs allowed on the beach between March and September to protect the Least Terns and Ringed Plovers there.) I turned around near where the Shrewsbury River narrows before the road bridge, and headed back up for about five and a half miles using the bike path parallel to Hartshorne Drive, and later, Atlantic Drive. Here are my stats for this outing, if useful: Distance: 10.6 miles Elevation Gain: 105 feet Moving Time: 3:29:19

Nice easy ride on an easy-to follow trail. Road crossings are relatively quiet roads. One stretch goes right by a school and is kind of annoying when the middle schoolers are getting out and milling about all over the trail.

The route outlined here is kind of a weird route, having you walk on the side of the road for a spell, on the beach, on the bike path, and on the dune hiking trail. Bike path, dune, and beach are good.

Away from the big crowds.

Easy walk in the woods. Not much in terms of views. Big trees were nice though.

Great easy relaxing ride, flat , not demanding . Good for families with young children

Great flat view of beaches and nice side trails to lighthouse and river views. Flat terrain so easy on legs. We biked most of it and took a walk to beach where river meets ocean.
