Great little weekend backpacking trail or big day hike. This is a through hike from Batsto Village to Atsion. This is a super easy hike. It is dead flat and has plenty of water sources. Great intro to backpacking hike. Leave the car at the Atsion trail head and then walk about 20 minutes to Batsto Village trail head. You can leave the car in the visitor center parking lot, grab a map/ camping permits then hike through the village to the trail head. The trail is fairly well marked (yellow blaze).C amp at the Mullica River Campground. There are well water and latrines available at this site. It is a little tricky north of Mullica River Campground, as there are many cross trails and some blazes are missing. The museum, gift shop, and village exhibits were cool too so make sure to check them out!Show more
