Nice trail and outing with the family. Just enough adventure for the littlest hiker. Not a lot of views, but great wooded trail for the kids to explore.

great for bikeing and walking

Nice trail a little tight at some points for a dog.

Nice quiet trail

It's great to hike so close to home without driving far. bought a map at REI , still discovering all the unmarked trails.

very quaint and very easy stroll/ not really a hike. the grounds are exceptionally maintained. sadly I only did half of the trail because I was so lured by the mansion and other buildings so I turned around to explore them instead. there is a old cemetery on the trail which was a nice surprise. I will be coming back

ok trail , a lot of up hills for mtb

Aptly named trail. There was no one else around so if you’re looking to get away from people for a little bit and maybe clear your head, this one will do. It’s a really easy trail so it’s a good place for beginners or someone just looking to get outside. The only gear you’ll need is a water bottle. The grass is overgrown, however, so wear long pants if you can or at least long socks.

Perfect for a quick hike, beginners, or someone introducing kids to the outdoors.

My absolute favorite hiking trail in New Jersey. Beautiful selection of wildflowers. Spectacular views, unique hiking experience. Wear bug spray as mosquitoes can be a problem in the wet season. Parking can be tricky so avoid peak times. Hike very early in the morning or late in the afternoon on weekends.

A good day hike and you can see all the high points in 1 go. The bolder formations are great and after the first steeper start, it levels out near the top if you start from the right. The left side has a gentler slope as is good for pets or an easier climb. I'd reccommend going to the top trail, it is a beautiful route.

Great mtb

A nice walking trail. Go at sunrise or sunset.

nice and easy trail. accompanied by the soothing sounds of the river. very level and good for all activities

be prepared for lots of rocks

Great trail, not too far from Philly.

The pyramid mountain trail system is really beautiful. The trails are well marked and neatly groomed, and there are varying levels of terrain for hikers of different ability. It's perfect for hiking and snowshoeing. That being said, please be aware that there are copperhead snakes present in the area. Obviously this is not the park's fault or responsibility, hikers are guests in the wildlife's home. We were so focused on keeping an eye out for foxes, bears, and deer that snakes didn't even come to mind and our puppy got bitten by one. We got him to the animal shelter for an anti-venom treatment ASAP, and he's going to be okay. I just wanted to make people aware of something I stupidly didn't think twice about.

We went on 8/17 and there were a ton of mosquitos. It would be a really nice hike in the Fall, but can be skipped in the summer.

I did the blue loop. For runners: Beautiful and well-marked trail. Lots of roots and a significant- though not impassable- amount of mud, so watch your step and be prepared to get a little muddy. For everyone else: Super lush woods, great views, and lots of wildlife to check out.

Improperly marked trails that changed colors without warning, really narrow trails with brush overgrowing, crawling with mosquitoes, and not a lot of sights to see. Wasn't a fan.

- Nice trail, overall.
- A little confusing to navigate in parts, especially with so many intersecting roads and paths, but doable if you print a map in advance or use a phone for directions.
- Not too many changes in elevation; pretty easy for all ages.
- The falls and view from Washington Rock were nice, but nothing too memorable. Otherwise, not much else to see along the way.
- LOTS of bugs. Must bring bug spray!

Awesome loop with a few different options. I loved the massive trees. We went in late October and there wasn't much traffic, just a hand full of cyclists. Plenty of deer, turtles, and a few snakes. The elevation gains are easy and flatten out quickly.

Entered from the South Lot (right after main gate, then 1st lot on right). Traveled counter-clockwise around the reservoir. Only made it to start of Campground trail, about 3+ mi. before turning back as it was hot, humid and my Swissie girl was dragging. While we had water, my beastie needed a lot so we paused several times to quench her. It's a very shady trail so the impact of the sun is muted, however it was still HOT! Here are some tips if you have the same big dog issues: immediately after the open area where the man-made earthened ridge is to your left, road to your right, is a reservoir overflow "creek". The right side is clean (no muck) and you can give a drink there. This is in the middle of the most rigorous part of the trail--up & down, some steeps--so a good spot for a break. After that, you go to one of the highest points before descending to the start of the Campground Trail where you all can jump in the water.

Take the green trail top the top... see the cacti...

It's an ok trail for hiking, great for mountain biking.

We've walked all trails birding and with our 2 Labs. Best place for water loving pups, the cedar creeks are very clean!

Loved it. It is in shade and pretty clearly marked. I believe steepness depends on how long the legs are on the person you ask. Views were breathtaking. Worth it.

Great loop. Climbs will give you a workout but the downhills are a nice reward. Trails are shared with runners, hikers, and dogs but are plenty wide to allow passing.

Kayaking Cedar Creek great time with friends.

8/16/2018 Orange trail completely flooded out today. At least a foot of water over the trail as far as you can see starting just past the trail head. I’ve never been here before but looks like it would be nice if it wasn’t flooded.

Great spot to hike
Trail marking could be better but great experience overall
