I did a 7-mile loop which included the Lookout Trail and a portion of Cannonball Run in a good amount of snow. The trails are well-marked and there were a lot of great views along Lookout.

Great trail. I’ve done it three times since March has started. If you want more of a challenge take the trail counter clockwise starting with the blue dot trail and taking the red dot down. Much steeper inclines going up so it’s a nicer workout plus you get to see all the falls first and the hike down is much quicker after you summit

We went out on this trail after a huge storm and it was absolutely amazing! I can only imagine how beautiful it is when everything is green and in bloom. The difficulty and time needed to complete the hike increased a bit due to the amount of snow which had accumulated, but it was more than worth the effort. The view is perfect!

Great hike. Was here the Saturday after the nor'easter storm. Could not complete the red loop to many downed trees. But, there was evidence that the trail was being cleared - to many trees down for a quick fix. Will be back to try again!

Nice walk around a lake. Some parts of path are uneven from tree root growth. Lake has a play ground for the kids. And if you are into fishing the lake has bass, sunfish, carp, catfish, and stocked trout.

Trail was a little hard to find but the view was amazing!

My little pup was in HEAVEN here! Tons of playful pups to chase around, ponds and streams to get into, and wide open space as well as trails. Wouldn’t really recommend it too much for non- dog lovers and it was very wet & muddy so be prepared for bath time afterward.

Not really a hike, just a great weekend stroll.

Walked it today with my dog. We were all alone. Had to walk thru about 10 inches of fresh snow and many down limbs and trees. Because of the conditions it took me about an hour longer than usual.

Be careful of chiggers! Beautiful trek though!

Favorite NJ hike. Red dot has some rock scrambling towards the top and blue dot is very rocky to descend. Would recommend hiking boots not sneakers. Really fun hike

Rocky, steep in sections, but the view is worth the climb!

very wet this time of year be prepared to walk in 4-6 inches of water for a few miles . Feb 26. views do not disappoint. beautiful little series of falls at the bottom.

Thankful for the directions I got from the previous commenters...and thankful that my car was fine parked in the pull-off parking area. I think I expected a hikers lot, but nope, just the pull-off. Walk straight through the opening (previously described as a field - I guess it's a field) up the hill and turn right at a telephone pole numbered BT3044. Red blazes. Fairly spread out, so keep your eyes open for them! The view from the top is pretty lovely for a low-investment (quick) hike. Took maybe half an hour to get up to the top in 4 inch snow. Hung out up there for 20 mins, hikes down, never saw another person. The flag is tattered and should be replaced. :)

Nice views around the lake, otherwise mediocre views. Challenging steep uphill section to begin with for fit persons. Hiked feb 18. Took 3hr20 without stops. iPhone measured at 7 miles (?) would give 3.5 if could.

I have hiked this trail 3 times over the past month. Great hike with my two water loving labradors.

Awesome trail see video below of our winter hike)

Great hike

ABSOLULTY lovely trails with beautiful scenery and everyone comes with their dogs and its just the best

Great trail for night hiking. Easy to keep track of your path. Very close to highway I-80 so you don’t have to worry about getting lost.

First one of my "big" hikes, back in August. Great loop but rocky way down, amazing views, fun swimming hole. Still of of my favorite hikes

Went on a warm day in January ! It was BEAUTIFUL , some patches of ice . Red dot up and blue dot down . Absolutely breathtaking !!!

Did this one back in July and it instantly became one of my favorites in Jersey. Astounding views on all sides from the summit area, and numerous views on the way up. Parking down the road and walking to the trailhead sucked, but the hike more than made up for it. Not an easy hike, but not hard by any means

Great view at Hemlock Lake. But signs are not clear since then. We followed the false trail when we wanted to leave the lake and came back to the falls.
