Such a cute place! Easy loop or you can explore the trails. Many lookout points and fun places to explore. My almost four year old loved it and was able to independently navigate the trail. Will be returning soon!

A pleasant, quick loop. Most of the time you are within brush and trees, so not much to see in the distance. There are a few bird watch stands where you can go and view the wildlife in the pond. A lot of bird watchers come here. We were lucky to have come in spring and see snapping turtles tumbling over each other and making waves during their mating season. Quick, enjoyable, good for kids.

This is a heavily trafficked trail and it shows in the compacted soil. Be careful of the many exposed tree roots because of this.

Overall the trail is very clean and well maintained. A few nice viewing points of the pond/wetlands. The trail follows a stagnant drainage ditch so bring plenty of bug spray for the mosquitos. Some birds and aquatic wildlife. Also saw a deer.

The map as drawn does not match the trail.

Easy walk with kids, lots of fun tree tunnels, bridges to cross and benches to sit and watch nature go by.

The Celery Farm is an excellent trail accessible all year round. It is right off of Franklin Turnpike in Allendale, NJ (residential area)....I absolutely love this trail for both walking and running...about .5 miles into the trail it gets very narrow and can be muddy (nature at its best)...Lots of deer and the obvious birds...have seen a number of snapping turtles and frogs...a great escape from the busy lifestyle of Bergen County....I highly recommend this trail!

The Celery Farm is an excellent 1.2 mile hike which is all flat...easily accessible right off of Franklin Turnpike in Allendale (residential area)...I have both walked and ran this trail....absolutely love it! I see lots of deer, frogs and snapping turtles...mostly lots of deer and the obvious birds :) Well maintained trail after the first .5 miles the trail at some points gets very narrow and woodsy...makes it more adventurous! Accessible all year round....Enjoy JB

Nice gentle walk in the middle of busy Bergen County. Quiet. Saw some impressive birds, a few turtles and some deer. Heavy rain yesterday so a couple spots on the trail were a bit muddy.

Excellent at any time of day. Lots of deer. Be aware that the trails can be very muddy especially after rain .

Excellent. mostly shaded nature walk. Large lake with bird posts and housing. Lots of wildlife - fish, deer, herons, birds, ducks, geese, rabbits, turtles, and more.

Ice spot and the grounds are maintained for use. It's a small loop and good for children. It can get a little muddy on the trail after a heavy storm.
The small vantage points allow for great viewing of the wildlife in the area.
The old farm equipment adds a great imaginary/rustic addition to the grounds. Whole place can me seen in 1-2 hours.

This is a good trail with kids. There are a number of benches to rest and a few lookout points. Kids especially liked the abandoned tractor and the half dozen deer we saw coming to take a drink at a stream. A few words of caution: there are tons of tree roots to watch for and the snow is melting so it's very, very muddy in spots.

Great trails a little over a mile, you can get a jogger style stroller through the park. There are some mud patches and tree roots. Not a complaint just a heads up.

The park offers perches to survey the preserve and the wide variety of wildlife. We loved the tractor and other farm equipment adds to the experience for any child.

Def a good spot

It's not the best hike as far as challenge. It's a walk. However , as far as nature and magic go. It's a must see

Good if you can get on the platforms when the photographers are not hogging it. Also a lot of runners so can be disturbing the wildlife in front of you.

It's a great spot. I run/walk here daily. Buggy and you will get muddy
