Easy to get lost (both driving and hiking) but the trail is pretty easy. Mostly flat. Took me 1.5 hours to hike the loop. Definitely recommended for beginner hikers.

My favorite place. This is a great little hike.

Came upon a large black bear while descending the blue trail. Was within 40 yards The bear watched while I slowly retreated back up hill. Quite an adrenaline spike. Stay alert!

Steeeep!

If I wanted to walk on the beach I didn't have to drive to corsons I let to do so

I recorded this hike to be 20.5 miles starting and ending at the Culvers Gap parking lot. The majority is on the AT until you reach the southern edge of High Point State Park. Cross Deckertown Turnpike continue on the AT then turn around on the red trail.

Lots of nice views and plenty of wildlife. This is a heavily trafficked area so dont expect to be alone. Start early, rest often, and bring extra water.
