Yale Estates, New Hampshire Map

Hiked with my 6 and 10 year old.

Piper has a pretty steady incline for the 1st quarter mile but mostly levels out. The most interesting part of the summit is all of the rocks turned into benches, chairs, and table at the top. The view is okay but not great.
The connector trail between Whiteface and Piper is a big elevation drop.
The Whiteface trail is a shared trail with an ATV trsil making blazes unnecessary. There is a lot of loose rock kicked up by the motorized vehicles. We saw atleast a dozen lady slippers along the trail. Bring your bug spray the mosquitos were thick and we found several ticks on us.
The summit from Whiteface is 360 but you're not much above the forest canopy so the views are lack luster.

We went down the traditional trail for Whiteface and walked back to the carriage rd trailhead for Piper, Belknap, and Gunstock. We didn't have much of a desire to resummit Piper.

You will almost miss this trail! But amazing views and a god work out. Parking is adequate and shares the same if you have to go Mount Belknap. Both Piper and Whiteface has amazing views and hiking back to the summit of Piper is a little challenging, but simply worth it.

Piper and Whiteface are a little small, but this hike is still worth trying out. The trail is very diverse along the way and there are very few people who take this route so it feels very isolated. You can get to the top of Piper from the lower carriage rd parking (red trail) or upper (white trail). Starting towards Whiteface on the green trail also leads to the best view from the top of Piper; I doubt most people know about it or keep walking that way.

A fun hike. Not too hard with some nice views from the peaks. Did the red trail up to Piper North, then Green to Whiteface. Took the yellow Vista Trail to Piper South at the intersection where Whiteface turned off. Came back and continued on to Whiteface. Total trip was 9.1 miles and about 4 hours. The app stopped recording for some reason once got to Whiteface.
