it's incredible, I hiked this trail earlier today but had to turn back due to bad weather only two hundred feet above the treeline and Cautionary treeline sign. This was an incredible hike though, about 7 and a half miles I double back down a third of a mile or so and jumped onto the scar trail and did most of the available loop and then meeting back up on Valley Way. I was going to camp at Valley Way campground which holds four or five good tents. I like others only recommend this hike in groups and in at least somewhat decent Weather. The wind was literally knocking me over today around noon and I was still 1.1 miles from the summit of Mt. Adams. Take caution when hiking this trail, especially September-into Winter.
