Description for this trail is accurate. Various areas of large rock scrambles bolder hopping. A few good views. Overall good hike.

Nice trail on a road it is easy with a few hills. Just before you get to the water there are snowmobile trails you can follow in the woods, they are a little more challenging. my golden retriever loves it, specially any trail that ends in water.

This was an excellent hike. Trails well marked and maintained. I started at Miller and went to North Pack, looped around from summit on Cliff Trail (true to name, steep descent), and on return took the alternate trail back, so the only repeated part was the center Wapack section (which is really nice). Great alternative to Mount Monadnock if you're looking for a fun challenging hike with great views. Cool pine forests.

Pretty amazing hike. Did it solo

Not as majestic as Mount Monadnock but you get very good views of Mount Monadnock. The Southern end Miller state park can get very crowded. The northern end has plenty of blueberries during the late summer.

Beautiful stream with a couple of small falls. Pretty forest trail. Some parts along the stream are very slippery and require proper footwear and caution.

Nice loop around the lake. Nothing too challenging.

great hike short but sweet. not too difficult

Great trail, well maintained. Pretty steep in some parts, but great challenge. the views at the top are amazing.

Easy short trail.

kind of steep, but good on the way up.

Nice trail. The kids did very well and enjoyed reaching the top. If they get too tired or weather starts looking off, there is a road trail to take the family back down. Will return!

I thought it was fun! it wasn't too crazy crowded either, but there's like these 3 rock ledges of doom to climb up, still loved it though!

Well marked and maintained trail. Fall leaves and sections of rough angled rocks required caution for someone my age (over 70). All in all a nice experience. Nice views, Fall colors at the summit were very nice. Came down the auto road due to comments above and leg fatigue. Still pretty hard on knees.

Very nice; my dog and I both enjoyed it. A little confusing without marked trails but a nice pond near the trailhead and lots of stone walls and a stone causeway over running water. As we returned to the trailhead a flock of geese landed on the pond. What a treat!

Great hike but it's not easy, it took us (1 adult and 1 child) about an hour to get to the top. He wanted frequent breaks but the views are worth it.

Enjoyed this trail that leads me to my best friends home in Dublin. My dog and I have had it all to ourselves several times.
Remember bug spray!

A good and more casual hike compared to the alternate route on the Wapack Trail.

Great hike. Relatively quick but steep overall. Great views of all of southern New Hampshire, and the White Mountains further north in New Hampshire and the Green Mountains of Vermont on a clear day.

Once you get past the running water and mud, it's a wonderful hike.

Much busier than the Wapack trail and thus very muddy, I used the trail as a loop to return from the summit, ascended the Wapack trail.

It was very fun and a good hike. I ran a lot of it and it was a good work. Plus the view at the top especially on the
watch tower is a great reword.

interesting that the map only shows the section from Pack Monadnock to North Pack. The trail goes all the way down to Mt Watatic in MA. it is a very nice trail although only moderate in difficulty. It is a nice alternative in spring to the mud and post-holes further North.

Okay, nobody does this trail "out and back". This is a "thru-hike" trail. Typically you leave a car at one end of the trail and have someone drop you off at the other end. Camping is allowed only by reservation significantly ahead of time at one place on the trail, which means you can either push all 20 miles in one day, make the reservation (which is not near the mid-point of the trail), or camp illegally somewhere along the way.

It's a good trail. There are quite a number of decent views along the way, and at the right time to the year you can practically stuff yourself on blueberries every day. There are steep sections in a few places and it does wear you down, especially if you are camping somewhere.

Overall, crowds are pretty light, with almost all of the crowds being on Watatic or the Pack Monadnocks. The rest of the ridge may be completely empty.
