Great trail! mostly flat, offers a few great views of the lake just a small walk off the trail. Great for the dogs and any level of hiker. Trails are decently marked, but I refered to the app a few times to make sure I was on the right path. From the parking lot walk to the right, go left at the road, walk 20 feet, turn left at the trail gate, everything is easy to see. Fun trail, took 3 hours taking our sweet time.

the perfect trail with my pup! we absolutely loved it! perfect for any skill level. we took the black diamond trail. A+

Parked at Boyd Hill Road entrance as the other parking lot was closed although the trail there was open. Very well marked. First 1/2 mile or so was pretty icy from packed snow. Intermittent ice from there on. Lots of mountain bike trails in the woods. A lot of big pines on the N side of the hill were recently toppled and have been sawed up. Nice easy walk except for the ice here and there, spikes were very handy. Very nice view to the N from the lookout point overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.

Nice trail but maps were old and unreadable several trails off main one would have been nice to see where they went

This is actually the 2nd time I walk this trail. It’s easy and if you just want to get out for a walk in the woods it’s perfect! Perfect for dog walkers.

Great little hike!

Easy walk. Lots of dog owners with pets off leash. Nice field area with birdhouses and apiary. We started off trail far east of the Audubon off Spofford road. Trail started nicely off Manchester Water Works however we needed to bush wack about 150 yards though blow downs before connecting with the maintained trails.

A little muddy in Feb- but many options and well marked.

Great little loop. Snow was well packed, easy to maneuver. We took the puppy (echo) with us and she loved it! lots of other dog smells, haha!!

Time it n time for lunch at Lino’s in Sanbornville.

This trail is a great little loop it doesnt take long maybe a couple hours. The river is beautiful and so are the falls their is also a neat little spot right where the trail connects to the river and if you go down the bank you can see some some all ruins of giant stone walls. I havnt done enough research into this place to know what it is.

Good trail, hillside terrain with plenty of switchback's.

Great view overlooking Bellows Falls

Went snowshoeing for the first time and this was the perfect trail to practice on. It was nice and flat, the pond was beautiful, and it's only 10 minutes from Manchester. I will definitely visit again to go running in the spring.

amazing place

Trail completed from downtown Wolfeboro to Wakefield as of 9/30/2017. 12 miles in one direction.

Amazing place for hiking

I parked at the Boyd Hill parking area and followed the quickest route to the scenic outlook, which took me about 20 minutes. I wasn't expecting much since I'd never been here and I found it on a whim. I was amazed at the view!! Breathtaking!! Such a beautiful sight for a short hike! Highly recommend!

Love this trail so much! Awesome choice if you want to do a calm walk or to hack your horse and work on pace! Were some ATV’s most were very respectful other than a few (always got those). I highly recommend.

I’m it sure why it’s reviewed as moderate. It’s a nice walking trail with barely any noticeable incline. Really great for walking dogs, biking, and walking along Mascoma Lake in Enfield. Very easy and simple.

Stay on the trail to the left when leaving the parking area. It takes you over to the Bald Knob with unobstructed views. If you continue over the Knob to the Old Canney Rd. (see local topographic map.) Keep bearing right and it will bring you right back to the parking area. By a map, or go with a guide familiar with the area. It's about a four mile loop along well defined woods roads. Good luck.

Beautiful nature hike but the trail is poorly marked...found ourselves off the trail a few times. The trail is only a loop if you want to cross a water way and get wet...if not you can take the access road back to main road and walk back to parking area.
