it's a decent Trail. for the most part paved but there are spots on the side where you can go off road if you are mountain biking. however to be completely honest be very careful about going off of the paved areas because of needles on the side of the trail. I was riding it this morning and found several on the side. They are no longer there I disposed of them when I saw it. However I am sure there are more somewhere near that trail. Especially right in the Derry area.

It's labeled on a sign next to a parking lot but I'm about 100 feet in and in somebody's yard next to the street. Too close to civilization for me.

Really nice paved walking trail. I did not hike the entire thing, it is very long! The leaves changing are beautiful here. We also got to see some wild turkeys. The only reason it is not a 5 star is because when we went off to hike on quail hill there was no markings and it was very easy to get lost and turned around. There was also a good amount of garbage on some of the sides of the trail.

Easy trail with very little elevation change. Trail is flat, wide and well maintained. Lots of people out and about walking the trails. Rocks & tree roots are spray painted florescent so to lessen trips. Dogs are allowed on the trails but Must be leashed, not all dogs you’ll encounter are friendly.

great for low impact walking, kids use trail a lot on their bikes

This is an easy-moderate, 1.4 mile hike with a bit of a climb. (The 2.8 listed is for twice the loop. It's also 600' elev, not 900 as listed.) Near the top the Ridgeline Trail branches south offering an out-and-back extension, but after a mile I found it boggy and uneventful. The most fun was coming down fast on the spacious, well maintained west side of the loop.

Although I'm used to 3,000-4,000 footers, this was a cute little hike.

I love it! Great place...

Awesome trail will do it again

Nice hike a little scratchy went alone. Some tress have fallen but other than that gorgeous view 40 mins round trip. Broke a sweat to! All in all I see myself doing this more often as it’s close to me. I told red diamond trail I wouldn’t call it steep just all up hill for the most part so if little ones I’d do a different trail for toddlers.

Small Place but really nice. It was actually a little bigger than I expected. You can stop at the top and look or you can hike a bit further down and there are a couple bridges to crossover the further down you go.

This was a nice, clean park. I only walked to the top of the auto road and back. It seemed like they had some cool mountain bike trails. Unfortunately, I didn't have my bike with me.

Definitely easy

Great trail, we road bikes and would rate it easy as it is virtually flat from Canaan to Lebanon. Have done it multiple times, very scenic with great views along Mascoma Lake. Also have done from Franklin to Danbury, also flat with one hill at a road crossing. Great to see some seniors out on pedal assist bikes!

Poor directions to trail head. Lots of rail trail walking, better route for bikers.

Short little hike by the falls. Nothing extravagant but a nice little pit stop!

There was a lot of poops in the middle of the trail and trash left around. I wish people would clean up after themselves! Otherwise this is a beautiful trail.

super easy, fun, I wish there were a few more trash barrels to throw things away, but overall beautiful.

Scenic loop with multiple trails off the main path.

It's very nice. I hike this trail almost every day. the people are usually polite as well. One thing i didn't like though is the constant vole holes.

Great little pit stop to break up a drive. Short loop hike right off rte#9 with a small rest area and parking lot

The best trail to walk if you’re looking for something flat that provides beautiful views of Mascoma Lake. I typically access it either by parking at the laundromat in Enfield or by parking in the lot on Ice House Road. Well used trail by many but in excellent condition.

Ok trail. Not a great experience because of abundance of attacking deer flies and mosquitoes the entire trek. More than half the “trail” is on a paved road community, but this was known going in. Not well marked and went way off track. Should’ve had my gps going. Ended up on main road (busy auto traffic) and backtracked about 1/2 mile. This time of year here in New England it’s known when it’s hot and humid there will be annoying biting insects. Would not go back here in the middle of summer. Early spring or fall would be a better non-bug experience. Nice forested area along river.

Map took us to a residential property with no trail markings. Kept driving on past forget it!

I have done this walk many times. Refreshing on a hot day, wonderfully cool down in the gorge. I would not call it easy though. Going down is easy, coming up, not so much. It takes some work if you are out of shape or older. Do it anyway, but take water and take your time climbing back up.

Awesome place to run. Lots of twists and turns. I got lost and ran an extra mile, but totally worth it. Can't wait to go back!

Nice morning hike, even in the rain. Short loop with steep uphill and scenic view at the top. Option for longer out and back trails.
