Went up the east side, down the west. East side is nice and steep - short but good to get your heart pumping. Leaves aren't out yet so nice view at the top. The west side was a gentle slope down. Not muddy at all even with recent snow. Got there at 11am - only two cars in the parking area. By the time we left an hour later at least ten cars and several groups were starting out. Go early during COVID-19.

Hiked this today with my 7 year old, it was a little elevated for him but he was grinning ear to ear once we made it to the top. Side note we went up the West side of the trail and down the East side, the path was pretty steep and washed out as we descended and in retrospect I would do it in reverse. All in all a nice trail, leisurely pace had us at about hour to hike this.

Beautiful short trail. Rushing water at the beginning is super peaceful.

Foggy day, so no view from the summit. Still beautiful!

Signs of spring. Very manageable even with remaining ice. Well marked. Nice and quiet.

Great little hike!! There are 3 different streams you have to cross. One has a rope to help with balance, the other two you are hoping rocks. Its not hard, but very slippery in the winter.
