Awesome trail. Nobody else on the trail, for once, so didn’t have to rub elbows with people. It was so much fun checking out the tin mine and looking for the random hidden animals in the trees. Very nice view at the top to have a picnic and enjoy the breeze. Yes, it is buggy.. You’re in the woods, bring bug spray

We tried to hike this trail today and it was closed.

we didn’t actually hike this trail! It is closed!!! A lot of the state parks/parking lots in the white mountains are closed due to COVID I’m assuming. Ended up going to Echo lake and walking that trail, it was open

Good views throughout this time of year since leaves not on trees. Did counterclockwise loop of Tin Mountain. Looking forward to returning to do loop with lakes and cave. Make sure you use app to stay on trail.

We went up New Path and it is VERY steep for most of the way!! At the top headed toward Old Path are the most incredible views but also ice and snow. We came down Old Path which was also snow and ice for quite a bit (Very happy our Micro spikes were in our backpacks). I also think Old Path is the easier way. Starting to get buggy but still ok.

Surprisingly rough trail in some places. The view at the cliffs on the southern end are nice but the views from the parking lot of the Presidentials is even better. Some muddy spots and there’s still snow right now.

We took the long way up and missed tin mine loop which we intend to do next time. That’s where the Mt Washington views are o think. We went left, then clockwise around which has a few steep parts but not for too long. Had lunch with a view of Attitash then continued and looped around the pond. Turned into 3.1 mile hike. Using the app is great. There are so many different ways to go, all good !

Hardly any trail markings. When you first start you’ll see arrows pointing left, THATS NOT IT. Go right. After the steepest part you’ll see a big red oval marking on a tree to your right, you GO LEFT. It’s VERY STEEP. So glad I had my poles and still scrambled a bit. There are two small view spots on the left as you go up. The 2nd spot is after the huge rock pile marking. Best spots for lunch!! Where trail actually ends is no view.

One of the best hikes I have ever done. Amazing weather which is rare for Washington - hiked it June 2018. It’s a difficult mountain so not for inexperienced hikers. Great views on the way up and amazing views at the top as long as it’s not socked in - and like I said for us that day it wasn’t. Washington definitely takes the whole day to hike up and down. Good food at the top inside the observatory

moderate hike with a rewarding view. no clear trail markers but if you pay attention to trail path, stacked rocks, and hiking stick marks you'll be fine.

Fantastic hike has it all, loaded with natural beauty, lovely views, pine forests, numerous mountain streams, two ponds, we did the loop to the top of Tin Mountain... great exercise! We have the two dogs with us and they had a blast. Use the app for guidance, trail was tricky in spots. we hiked to the top on the steep side, (whew!) and down the less steep side ... still snow in spots, some mud, some ice but overall pretty good footing. Wonderful afternoon hike.
