This hike some of the coolest views once you about half way up and again once your at the top, but the trail near the bottom is kind of crappy and washed out so be careful with that but overall really good hike!

Great trail! mostly flat, offers a few great views of the lake just a small walk off the trail. Great for the dogs and any level of hiker. Trails are decently marked, but I refered to the app a few times to make sure I was on the right path. From the parking lot walk to the right, go left at the road, walk 20 feet, turn left at the trail gate, everything is easy to see. Fun trail, took 3 hours taking our sweet time.

the perfect trail with my pup! we absolutely loved it! perfect for any skill level. we took the black diamond trail. A+

Easy walk. Lots of dog owners with pets off leash. Nice field area with birdhouses and apiary. We started off trail far east of the Audubon off Spofford road. Trail started nicely off Manchester Water Works however we needed to bush wack about 150 yards though blow downs before connecting with the maintained trails.

Follows the old Sanbornville to Wolfeboro scenic railroad track. 12 miles one way.
Time it n time for lunch at Lino’s in Sanbornville.

Amazing place for hiking

Love this trail so much! Awesome choice if you want to do a calm walk or to hack your horse and work on pace! Were some ATV’s most were very respectful other than a few (always got those). I highly recommend.

Decent amount of snow when I did this on thanksgiving. step from the first step to about the last though it's not too bad with the proper gear (spikes and poles at least). Not too difficult for a 4kf.
Very worth it though, great views of Lafayette, Lincoln and liberty. I would recommend this to anyone.

The trail was consistently steep and had a lot of fun scrambling on the way up. There were some great overlooks before hitting the summit, then the tower at the top which had nice views but was extremely busy with tram passengers.

my favorite new England trail

The wife and I did the whole loop and it was awesome. Well kept, great diverse terrain, a fun one to do.

Our barn recently organized trail ride to Beaver Brook. With the assistance of the Association staff, we planned two 90-minute loops on well-groomed, multi-use trails. We lunched at picnic table at Brown Lane Barn that also has parking and a turn-around for trailers. You can also access water for the horses here and a port-o-potty for humans, however, check ahead of time to make sure the water is turned on OR bring your own for the horses. The Association prefers riders to clean up after their horses, however, we came from a distance and arranged to make a trail maintenance donation instead. There is no entrance fee. The trails are very diverse and our experienced riders and horses were able to walk, trot, canter and gallop during the ride. There are bridges and a few steep areas along the route which should be factored into your horses' preferences;)

There was no place to park and the land is mostly private.

My go to trail for a walk. It follows the side of the reservoir. Flat, heavily travelled by bikes. Good path for dogs on a leash. Lots of ticks. Please be aware and check your dog after. Nice lily pond and pretty foliage.

This was my second 4000 footer which we hiked on Sunday. The trail was moderate to difficult but quite scenic despite many views of the highway. I found the eroded trench sections hardest but definitely interesting. Lookout views were beautiful, especially the view of Lafayette. The summit area itself is pretty lack-luster but the the top of the tower offers splendid and slightly obstructed views. All in all this hike was great. Interesting and diverse terrain, gorgeous views of Lafayette and I was home in VT before dark.

Trail is definitely on my list of favorites. The trail head is a bit hard to find, but worth it in the end. This trail intersects with the Mervin and the Winnie the Pooh trails, a kid's favorite.

What a great trail! So beautiful!

winnie the poo trail is kinda cool and great for kids...connects to goodwill trail and the trail itself goes further than route on here...pretty nice!

Cannon Mtn was my toughest 4000 so far. First mile plus is directly uphill with plenty of rocks to maneuver. Hard work. Challenging, fun and worth every push of each leg once you stand atop what was the Old Man of the Mountain along with reaching the summit about 1/2 mile later. The views are far reaching and breathtaking.

4.4 miles out and back. 2 hours up and 1 down.

The weather, the sun and the breeze were absolutely perfect. We went mid-week and saw only 4 other people. Had the summit to ourselves on a warm mid-October day. Just amazing!

Nice trail though can be a bit too much traffic for bikes.

This is not a trail and is not hiking. This is 2000 ft vertical in 2 miles of granite boulders!

Went on a Sunday and hit the trailhead around 1030a. We reached the ridge where the overlook tower is but left immediately. The tram passengers ruined everything about the great hike up.

Fog burned off during our descent and we caught glimpses of the foliage. Not as many viewpoints as there is on the opposite side of 93.

The walk around Lonesome Lake mellowed us out for the bumper to bumper traffic back down 93S.

Would recommend but not during foliage season

Beautiful pond and great hiking! Not a lot of people and plenty of opportunities for photos!

This trail was a lot of fun to go up, I love scrambling and there was plenty of this on this short trail. This trail is steep and you will gain elevation quickly. Two to three hours to reach the top depending on how fit and careful you are. I recommended spending the most time at the overlook that is about 25 minutes before the summit because the summit is crowded with people who took the tram up. Took off a couple stars because of the chaos at the top and the views (while great) can be beat.

Nice path and Wolfeboro is a fun town to start from. The path is a little crowded with pedestrians and a little narrow, so you need to be careful.
