Great easy short hike for a 7 & 13 year old, They felt accomplished. Bugs bugs bugs

Easy hike with a great view. Don’t forget bug spray

Gave it 2 stars only because of the square tails! We were loaded with bug spray but we walked for about 5 minutes and had to leave. Hoping that it wont be as bad during the fall time if we go back. It was so bad!

Nice little trail. Good quick workout...great views for little effort. Mosquitos were out in full force but that’s to be expected. Bug net really helps.

This is actually a circular trail, the first part was very muddy but the rest was fine. A bit buggy. Lots of wild flowers and flowering bushes.

easy hike , lovely views , and very quiet this time of year in early spring .

Begin along the road until you find trail markers. Well marked and self identifiable, had to check myself a couple of times to be sure on the right path. View from summit well worth the effort

Typical early spring conditions encountered. Spikes were still needed as of 4/6. Snow run off made the trail very muddy. Having hiked this trail often I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wooded walk. Give the trail a few week to dry out if visiting for first time.

Trail re-routing due to tree harvesting boosted this hike to 5.5 miles rather than 4. Not much to see on this hike other than a small waterfall towards the end. The trail takes you through tall grassy areas as well as quite a few prickly bushes. You also pass by a few houses, and a local cemetery.

Went out with my kids and dog. Did an abbreviated 2 mile loop using the ledges trail and hurricane rd. Unfortunately ticks are on the rise once more and had to take three off the dog and one off of me. Good note none off kids. Going to stay clear of here for awhile.

Had a better walk this time then last. Still a bit tricky to follow especially through lower part of trail due to forraging and some unmarked intersections. Ill be doing it again due to proximity of my house and i do west side often so its good for a chg of pace

Loved this foresty hike! The mossy, rocky, heavily wooded areas were magickal albeit a bit buggy a few weeks ago.

Went for evening hike with my better half. Very nice hike. 5-9-17

lots of neat little nooks and crannies in this walk. The look out " tower", cemetery were nice resting spots. Defiantly a wooded hike with some pretty good sized hills to traverse. My only complaint is on the edges of the forest theirs some logging areas and not a big fan of it. Id recommend this to anyone looking for a good solid walk through the country side.
