Well marked and some great views. Went up Gunstock and over to Belknap. Trails were easy to follow. There are some areas that are steep, so keep in mind for some hikers.

Great short loop that young children are able to do. Nice views at the top and lots of rock made seating to enjoy additional lake views a little closer on the way down. Parking is right off Route 11.

My dog and I loved this trail! Minimally challenging, beautiful view at the top with a large area to sit and relax, and well shaded trails. No bugs yet either. Parking was down the road quite a ways so prepare to get to the trail early in order to find a spot. The last mile or so of the trail was dirt road so be prepared for that, as well.

This was a beautiful trail and perhaps the most well marked trail I’ve ever been on despite the fact that it changed trail names multiple times. There were blazes & sign posts regularly. I wouldn’t recommend going all the way to Whiteface Mtn because the last stretch is an ATV trail that is both poorly marked and not as scenic. Lots of great views; highly recommend this hike. It took us about 7 1/2 hours plus a stop for lunch.

Nice, pretty easy trail with nature education signs. The trail marked between Lockes Hill and the Kimball castle is overgrown and no longer accessible.

This was a very nice trail. A good length for beginners. Not too steep. Some ups some downs. Very nice views at the top. The second half of the hike is like on a 4-wheeler trail so lots of dried mud.

A great hike with great views. Is was buggy but what really else can anyone expect? Parking was a little tricky but we found parking and made due. Beautiful weather. Lots of sun at the top. Very pretty

Great short hike straight up to the top! We chose not to do the loop to avoid having to walk along the road, but the Piper Mountain Trail (marked red) made for a great hike today. Kinda buggy at the top, but no issues with them while walking up.

This is a very nice loop trail, packed down well, dry, pretty views of the pond on the way. We hiked up the green trail to the red in a counter-clockwise rotation. Parking had one other vehicle when we got there and a different when we left. We didn’t see anyone else hiking so it was a peaceful hike. That being said, today was EXTREMELY buggy and even with bug spray, they were relentless. We hiked to Mack first after reading that Klem was wear the views were (?). Mack had pretty good view points right before the summit, but we waited to get to the summit of Klem to take a break to enjoy the views we read about on so many other reviews. Don’t let the other reviews pull a fast one on you, summit of Klem is wooded. Completely. Wooded. There is a stopping point right after the summit (if going counter-clockwise as we did), but it’s about 0.2 miles away from the top. Highly recommend doing this hike on a cooler day to deter bugs, otherwise you’ll look like you have measles.

Great trail! Steady uphill throughout and very buggy. We got a little lost half way up.. as the trail went from well marked to trees down and heavy leaves. We found the trail again after 5 or so minutes. We only saw one other person on the trail today as well. The view at the top is spectacular!

Completed this loop today. We went up Mack first. The trail itself is great, it’s well packed down and very easy to follow, no mud. The bugs were atrocious today, I don’t think I’ve ever had so many mosquito bites and bug spray did not deter them. The summits themselves have no views, just signs, but there are spots on the way up and down that have decent views and we would have stopped to enjoy it had the bugs not been there.

very well-maintained trail! surprising views and educational!

Great trail... once you get there. The gate leading to the upper parking lot where the trail head starts was closed. Not sure if it was because it was Memorial Day or some other reason, there were no signs, but parking at that gate tacked on about another 2.4 miles to the hike of paved and then dirt road. This was welcomed for me but not so much the two six year olds I had in tow. Luckily, once we got off the road the trail was magical to them, and they quickly had good spirits. There was a side stream running down the entire length of the road which helped to keep them occupied.

This was a great trail! It was a perfect trail for kids who are 3&4 years old. Very beautiful view of the lake. I recommend starting at the Quarry trail. When we pulled in there were a lot of cars which made us a little hesitant (during this Clovid time) but it really wasn’t crowded at all and it was easy to give people space if you needed to pass. This is exactly what we all needed! We wish we brought our dog, it was a good trail for a dog too. I think they need to be on leashes though.

The main trails are very clear and easy to follow with good markings and signage to confirm where you are on the map. The small/bike trails can be a little tougher to follow at times but are clear and evident what directions they are going. It was a nice first hike of the summer!

Went at around 11am and it was a bit buggy going up. Some steep areas but overall not a bad hike. Going back down through the loop route was less buggy

One of my favorite hikes. A variety of terrain, brook crossings, open ledges, and splendid views. We began with the Brook Trail to the White and Blue Trails to Belknap Mt. We explored the crash site and continued on the Yellow Trail. We merged onto the Gilford Trail, then the Round Pond Trail. Before completing the loop we took the second right, then a left to explore the Cobble Mt trails. Rock Loop is a nice short loop down to a pond. From the Cobble Loop we found a Yellow blazed snowshoe trail on the back side that took us up to the summit and back down to the road/parking lot. No view at the summit but the hike was nice. Would do it again.

Nice trail! The trail itself may have even been more beautiful at spots than the summit! View from top was good, not the greatest, but still very much worth it. Almost no bugs (5/19/20). Not crowded, lot only allows for a few cars. I was hesitant to go up Klem as recommended by others first as I’m not in the greatest shape but it was a very manageable challenge and worth the extra bit of work. Recommend! Maybe will do this again and add another summit. Lots of connecting trails (well marked).

decided to tack on mount major a s I'm glad I did. Started up the blue trail to the alt steeper trail to mount major. really muddy snowmobile trail to the top. mount major is beautiful as always. backtracked from the top over to straightback and then over to anna and down from there. Seems this way was much easier than trying to go up anna. overall good trip.

Gentle incline by the Quarry trail that starts as a logging trail. Views at the top were gorgeous. Took the Lakeside trail back down to the parking lot. Steep at parts going down.
