I had a really hard time trying to find a place to park and drove around quite a while before finding this new parking lot. The trial was not well maintained until I got behind the apartment complexes where there was a really nice crushed stone path.

Today was actually a beautiful day to hike. My first one on this trail - lots of twists and turns that were unexpected or not marked as well as I would have liked. I was very glad to have my mosquito netting today - the bugs were fierce. Good training site for preparing for the AT. Lots of hills and rocks and roots...cool in the woods, hot under the power lines.

I’m just beginning to train for hiking the AT. For me, this trail gave me some good skills to practice - following the blazes (which were not always clear), root hiking and dealing with lots of Black flies- Yum! All in all, a good start - looking forward to exploring many more of the trails around here.

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful excursion this in not the trail for you! Noisy 101 can be heard the whole time. Also the flies were fierce for this late in the season.

Trail entrance easy to find, parked at a business lot of which there are many. The trails are easy to navigate even with many unmarked side trails all lead back to a main loop. Though not prolifically marked it’s easy to navigate (Blue/Yellow) means on blue heading to Yellow (Blue / Blue) or (Yellow/Green) etc. It’s a closed loop system so even if you’re off course it’s never more than a mile at most from getting back to a marked trail. The trails are more biking built than hiking, but were nice for running, lots of rolling terrain, not very technical and short climbs, all runnable with pace. One can make many distances without repeating as there are tuns if turns and loops to make extended routes. The feature to remember is the highway, one will always know position by its sound and that makes navigation less stressful. Overall good trail to bike or run and worth the effort.

Got lost very poorly marked. However I will try again see if I can find the actual trail. My dog loved it. Very buggy!

A lovely walk through the woods. In August, it’ll be super buggy and not even bug spray will keep the flies from swarming your face and body. We had to wave a hat in front of our faces the entire time. That being said, in better conditions this would be a great trail! You bet to cross over precariously built wooden bridges and walk through marshes. We got to see a beaver dam. You’ll share the trail with mountain bikers so keep an eye out. Would do again.

Super well-maintained trails! I lost the red markers at one point in a large clearing but I think it was user error. One part ends in a huge muddy pond at the moment but the cross-paths are well-placed so it's not a huge issue.

Great trail if your just looking for a quite stroll with not to many great views . The only views are the exeter river and local woods. I would recommend just because I love walking and being outdoors . (Bring bug spray )

Dog friendly trail, not marked great at first but once in the woods it's better. Lots of mosquitoes and ticks, be prepared and check thoroughly after!

not muddy.
